My roof looks fine, but they killed plants and grass .... told me to water more, did not help, dead is dead. I complained and they said they would take care of it... never saw them again.

Happy with the result, but not the communications. Never know when they will show up. Also, do not give any info as to any concerns the homeowner may have (Like Debris is gutters). It should be a 3 step process. 1. Notifiy of schedule. 2. Perform the task. 3. Tell the customer if any issues (if none, then tell them none). Thats it.

This company had wonderful and very professional service.
The owner actually did the cleaning service and washed down the plants, walks and driveway as well.
Roof looks great and I will recommend him to my neighbors without any hesitation.
If you request, the roof tech will call ahead and let you know they are coming over to do the six month service.

My husband has been using them for over 25 years and we have NO complaints. The ONLY suggestion I want to make is it would be nice if they would call you before coming out to warn you. To be awakened to someone walking around your roof can be a little disconcerting. They come out twice a year and our roof looks great.

Appel Roof Life - review
Poor customer service, poor quality work and poor / completely lacking issue resolution skills.
My roof was inadequately treated by Roof Life. The front was badly streaked and quite visible from the street and the back and garage had area's that were not treated at all. I called and left a message but got no response. At the next service we had the representative evaluate the roof and he agreed that it had been inadequately treated. In addition, he told us that the representative that treated the roof last was inexperienced and that the company was having trouble with employee retention. He promised to write the issue up and bring it back to headquarters. He left before giving us a copy. I had to write a letter to get the owner to call me. The owner was dismissive and condescending. He continually told me that I was not a roof expert so I could not possibly know if his representatives performed inadequately. He also denied that his latest field representative found any issues. The owner refused to acknowledge any inadequate treatment, refused to put the field representative on the line and refused to negotiate a resolution. I was forced to terminate future services due to his lack of responsibility for professionalism and customer service.
