Tony is an excellent handyman who can do it all, but most of all he is very friendly with fair prices. He answered all my questions and responded timely.
I first hired him to seal up my vents on my roof and quoted me an average price but also told me that the price can go up or down once he actually saw the damage and necessary repairs. Once he came and saw it he reduced the price by about 20% which was a great surprise. Everything is sealed up nice and neat with no water leaks and is rodent proof. The job was done quickly with two guys working on it. He has multiple workers to do any job.
After the job was done I asked him to check out a drip that I kept hearing behind my wall, and he checked all over for water leaks. He quoted me a fair price with different scenarios of what could go wrong with the associated prices. He was very knowledgeable with patient ears.

He even came back one month later because I needed a hose in my backyard to be replaced and did the job for FREE! I am forever indebted to you, Tony! I really appreciate it. Some other plumber quoted me $50 to replace the water hose, and another never replied to my request perhaps because the job was too small. No job is too small for Tony, and no customer is too unimportant.

First, you must know they were fixing an already remodeled bathroom that was done all wrong. Thank goodness they are licensed (unlike the previous guy apparently) so if any problems arise they will comeback out and fix it. Things happen for a reason, my first job would have been an issue for the 3 condo residents below me at some point. Now I have to go after Julio Sanchez from El Monte area to get my money back! Anyway, not only did Appease Builders show me every step of the way, but they constantly asked and reiterated what they already knew from our contract to ensure they were right and I hadn't changed my mind or any misunderstandings. When they came upon problems they gave me SEVERAL options in how to proceed and always gave me their opinion so I had the knowledge to make the right choice for me. They come around 9am and for me, I'm good with 8:30-9 bec than I don't have to get up earlier to do my stuff to be out of their way. Their prices are average so if you're looking for a cheap and quick fix then they are not for you, but heed my warning that you should beware the quick and cheap people bec you're project will not be right. It may look right decor wise in the end, but all of the important jobs you cannot see may not be right. We had leak in walls we couldn't see and the red guard and hot mop were not done right causing the leak to find a way to places it shouldn't be.....Thank goodness Julio didn't finish the job and I had to get Appease Builders in! The only negative we had at first, was we were going to use a credit card, but Tony doesn't do the credit cards, as offered. He does offer financing though. And do NOT be turned off by the credit card situation bec Tony DOES WORK WITH YOU!!!!! Plus, if you want to use a credit card, it's better to get a 0% apr check from your credit card company and not have all those credit card fees yourself. We are so happy with Tony and Robert and their guys that we are having them do our kitchen now! Thank you Appease Builders! Hiring a company for repeat business is the biggest compliment! Update: They just finished our kitchen and I'm so fricken happy with it!!!!!

I would highly recommend Appease Builders to anyone who needs large or small jobs done around the house. Tony and his crew are outstanding to work with. We have had them do several jobs for us; installing ceiling fans, miscellaneous other electrical work inside and out. They even put lights and outlets in my shed. ( A big deal for me!) They even installed a doggie door for our dog. We had concrete installed at one side of the house of which Martin had to hand dig a 9' X 43' section plus another smaller section. He did an excellent job. All the work that Robert and both Martin's have done for us have been excellent. Tony is very easy to talk to and work with. He is very customer service oriented, which I greatly appreciate!! I wish I had contacted Tony when we had the house painted and roof done. I know I would have been much happier with their work and customer service. Tony works out the best possible deal without cutting quality. TEN stars for Tony and his great crew!!

Hired to install crown molding. They did decent job, but didn't bother to cover my brand new floors and there's paint drippings all around the base of the floor in every room where they installed the molding. There's a few areas at top of molding where it looks like they ran out of caulking and just stopped. Def feel I was over-charged for the quality of work. Paid $1450 labor and just under $450 for material. Had previous estimate of $1200 all inclusive (labor & material), but choose Appease because I thought they could help with other projects. The next job was closet organizers. The estimate for 2 small reach-in closets was $1100+ per closet. I had ""Closet Factory"" (one of the most expensive closet companies around) come out and give me an estimate (just to see) and their estimate was $984 for both closets. At that point, I felt I was about to get screwed. Maybe Appease felt because I was doing a lot of remodeling, I have money. I don't know, but to double charge me for basically the same design and installation for my closets didn't feel good. I'm a single woman. I own my home and am doing extensive remodeling. But that doesn't mean I want to be taken advantage of any more than my contractor already had!!! Bottom-line, Appease is ok. The crown molding looks ok for the most part. Paint all over my new floor reminds me of them every day. I'd rather my new crown molding remind me of them, that'd feel better. Overcharging and paint everywhere, well, that part!!! I'd say, get several estimates before you decide on them. Tony is a really nice guy, but that didn't help me feel better.

Installing my new front door is the second project I've done with Tony at Appease. They are reliable, affordable and most importantly- do the job right! If there are any issues Tony and his team make sure to rectify them. It's very hard to find a qualified and trustworthy handyman, but they definitely fit the bill.

Appease Builders did a tremendous job with my bathroom remodel. Tony is an excellent communicator, which is tough to find among contractors, and Martin is a true craftsman. Through the entire process I was kept informed of their progress and always felt like they knew exactly what I was looking for.

It's not easy finding an honest contractor who does quality work, doesn't cut corners, and gives you competitive quotes, but Tony at Appease Builders is that guy.

Tony and crew, especially Robert, did an excellent job! Large attic ladder, can lights, bathroom fan, porch stair handrails, move part of a fence, and repair house base. Cleaned up after each operation. Thanks for helping us make our little home a little better!

Sister in laws house- she Paid these clowns for a room addition their footing blew out and they apparently tried to make it work (way off) she paid up front for all the lumber to be dropped and it warped for their incompetence as contractors caused majority of wood to warp and twist. Used a shit load of pressure treated lumber for floor joist and rim joist, that after I canned there butts-I tore out the thousands off dollars of twisted lumber that was no where near plumb, square, or level. If they would have showed there face again I'd square up with them. Lose of money my time for there bullshit and no knowledge. Wouldn't let there silver tongue BS plant flowers.

I shitcanned them after asking where in the lumber is the 3/4"" plywood for sheeting the floor and they thought they could use 1/2"". I had to leave before tearing their heads off. They asked for another advance of a few thousand from me sister-in-law (I told her no more money) and was trying to get them to fix the many issues they were trying to cover up. They showed up and for I told S.I.L. To have them meet with me. I canned them and tried to explain to them that their fraudulent doings were wrong and knowledge of the trades needs to be adhered to. They were great guys but great guys don't build quality.

Tony, Robert and crew were on the spot, very responsive and knowledgeable. I was under strict time constraints and they were able to fit me in and did great work. Tony was on point during the whole process - from estimation, pricing and he came by to check progress and even critique areas to be redone. More work for his guys but sure made me - the customer - very happy. I was glad I got this recommendation from a friend and will not hesitate to recommend this business.

Just love these guys!! I've called on Tony and team several times to do repairs and improvements in my old house. They are very dependable, honest and reasonable. They can do just anything you need in your home. I highly recommend this company. :)
