I wanted to take a moment to share our recent experience with Apollo Roofing, which was nothing short of positive and easy. Our representative, Ben, did a fantastic job keeping us informed from the initial site visit all the way through the couple of days of actual roof demolition and replacement. He was on site during some of the work and sent pictures and information on the project status daily, which we greatly appreciated.

Their bid was neither the lowest nor the highest, but we felt most comfortable with their process and are very satisfied with our choice of Apollo Roofing. The professionalism and attention to detail made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

I was required by my homeowers insurance to replace my roof of 25 years or they would not renew. I obtained several bids and Apollo was the most reasonable and they have worked with me to split up the main house and the detached garage roof replacements since the garage has solar panels and Tesla cannot remove and replace the solar system until May of 2025. Getting the main house done satisfied my insurer and they have renewed my insurance. In the middle of the main house roof replacement I was contacted by the sales agent and he said he had miscalculated the square footage of the roof resulting in a $10,000 under bid to replace the roof. This underestimate resulted in increasing the Apollo bid to much closer to the other bids I had received. We agreed to split the difference and I paid an additional $5000 over the original bid they had provided. Their work was fast, of high quality and they were highly responsive to questions. They did a good job of cleaning up the work site each day and at the end. We even had rain occur in the middle of the project and they took steps to insure we would have no leaks which we did not.
Near the end, I signed a change order to have them install gutter guards which I hope to be effective in eliminating the huge amount of leaves and acorns that clog my gutters each year. They even water blasted the existing downspouts before installing the guards to insure they were flowing properly. Great work and great communication with Ben who was the project manager and sales person. He even came out at the end with a magnet and walked the perimeter of the house to insure there were no nails or staples still on the ground around the house. We still have the garage to do in May and they are holding to their original price on that install.

I see that the owner responses personally to reviews. If the customer isn't 100% satisfied, he is willing to work with you.

I want to give credit where credit is due and to follow up on my review. After the repair leaked from our last atmospheric river, one of the managers in the company came out, suggested some potential fixes and then sent their crew back out to make some additional repairs. Whatever they did worked because for our most recent weather event (yes, the one where SF had a tornado warning for the first time that blared out from our phones before 6am), where there was definitely plenty of rain and wind swirling around, our skylight managed to...NOT LEAK! That's honestly the first time in recent memory after a big precipitation + wind event. Again, I very much appreciated that this company is willing to stand by their work!

I called Apollo Roofing to inspect my roof as it looked like some concrete shingles had come loose which has happened previously. Matti responded promptly and showed up right in time. He used a drone to quickly inspect the roofing and determined there was just one suspect area; he went up on the ladder for a visual inspection and found that all the tiles were in place- he was completely knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely call Apollo in the future.

Apollo Roofing did a quality reroof on our complex roof at a great price. During the bidding process, they were patient while we got other bids. Our roof has both sloped and flat areas, and had a pergola built into it causing some rot problems. Some other roofers took a look at our roof and didn't even give us a bid. Apollo gave us the best of the bids we did get. Part way through the reroof, they allowed us (the homeowners) to attach the pergola to the top of the new roof with some commercially available steel connectors, thereby eliminating the problematic way the pergola had been built into the roof. They were flexible with us because they cared about the integrity of their work. They want to make their customers happy, and definitely achieved that goal with us.

I've been a real estate developer for 30 years. I scheduled a roof inspection with Apollo but unfortunately when the company representative showed up they said they can't do a roof inspection. This is a churn and burn roofing company that plays games with their prospective clients. Avoid at all costs.

Update: there is no reason to contact you as I only had a 5 day inspection contingency period. You caused major stress and I had to get someone else in an emergency. Your agent was extremely rude and combative. Why would I want to trust you again?!?
