I used a different roofer just over a year ago, and they ""took me"" for many thousands of dollars, and then closed their doors. So because of ponding on my flat roof, which was the primary motivator for the first job, I called Apex based on some praise on a FB group for Lago Vista. They came out, gave me a reasonable explanation for the problems, and made a first effort to fix. While that improved the problem, it did not cure. So after talking with the head honchos, they came back, and completely redid the previous crummy roofer's job. I have several complications, such as two large skylights, and they did a superb job framing them up 8 inches to cure potential leaks, and sealed the roof with TPO, a material so efficient that I can walk barefoot on it at high noon in July and August without pain. My electrical bill has actually gone down several hundred dollars per month in AC costs. No leaks, unlike the previous roofer. Repeated visits by the foreman and the ""boss"" to insure my satisfaction. Sloping roofs are the bane of roofers, frankly, but they really know their stuff. Gracias to Alfredo, onsite foreman, and Mike, main contractor, for both their abilities and especially their follow-through. When I noticed a small increase in roof-top AC vibration, they came out at no charge and installed some very efficient vibration absorbers under the AC unit which made it better than before. I rue the money wasted on the other roofer, but am grateful Apex was able to step up and cure the other guy's failures at a reasonable price.

I'm guessing Apex doesn't like competition. We had called a couple of companies to come out and assess, Apex came a little early while we had another company here and said he would not provide an estimate since we had another company present and besides it looked like a small job anyway. Thanks Apex for helping make our decision to not go with you. I guess those other reviews I read about your customer service were correct.

Brad and his guys are great, and very honest! I had a roof leak and when I called Brad he came out that same afternoon, during peak season, to assess my roof. Within the next couple of days he had a guy replace some water-barrier under a section of my shingles, and they replaced the shingles in a few other areas that could have potentially caused me issues later. The price he charged was extremely fair and the job they did was great, I haven't had a leak issue since!

I am not originally from Texas so I rely heavily on reviews when it comes to something like this. When we needed to get quotes for our roof I contacted several companies. Some sent me a quote before even looking at my roof, but Brad from Apex contacted me and was at my house within an hour. He and Jeremy were a great help in the beginning and throughout the process my main contact was Jeremy. He did a great job staying in communication with me and was very helpful. Prior to the roof replacement, we knew we had a hole in the roof so they came out 2 days later to patch it up before we were hit with a week of rain! That was before any paperwork had been signed! In my opinion this is a fantastic company and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have roofing work done :)

I reached out to Apex Roofing a couple of months ago by sending a message through Yelp for a roof repair quote. I received a prompt response from Brian B. (owner) stating that they could go inspect the roof and that his project manager, Brad P., will call us. We received a call from Brad not too long after and we setup a date and time for him to go out to inspect the roof and provide us with a quote. The next thing I know Brad called and said he had gone to inspect the roof and had his ""guy"" repair it. I was surprised to receive the message since he hadn't called me and even let me know what the cost would be. His response was that since it wasn't going to be ""too expensive"", then he went ahead and just repaired it since he had a crew in the area. We also had a second job that we needed to get done at a different house so we were getting quotes from a few roofers to see who we would select to do both jobs. Brad admitted that it was his mistake to have repaired the roof without consulting us so he offered to go inspect the other house and provide us with a quote before doing any repairs. He stated that he would go inspect it in a few days. A few days passed and we hadn't heard from him so we reached out to him. He seemed to have an excuse on every occasion that we contacted him asking him if he had done the inspection yet. He finally did the inspection and told us that some sealing needed to be done and a few shingles needed to be replaced and gave us a quote. We agreed on the estimate and said his crew would be fixing it the following Wednesday. Wednesday came along and nobody showed up. We reached out to him again and he stated that it wouldn't be until the following Wednesday. Then that Wednesday came along, and still nobody showed up. We kept calling him and texting him to check status but he didn't respond for over a week. Then when we finally got him to respond, he said his crew went out but didn't see anything to repair on the roof. We can visibly see from the street that there are shingles missing on the roof so at this point I think he made up the story that his crew went out and didn't find anything to repair. I also don't know at this point if the first job he claims he did was even completed. It is disappointing to waste all that time and energy trying to get both roofs repaired by Apex when now we just have to start all over again to find a reliable roofing company.

I November 2017 I hired APEX to replace the entire shingle roof of my multi-unit property. Mike Montgomery and his team did an EXCELLENT JOB for a reasonable price. I received bids from other companies that wanted A LOT more money.

I've attached two of the several photos they e-mailed to me. The color of this shingle is called Resawn Shake. It comes with a 25 year manufacturer warranty. APEX also gave me a 10 year labor warranty.

I purposely delayed this review until now because I wanted to see how the roof performed with the winter rain / wind. So far so good! I'm not aware of any problems whatsoever.

TIP: They accept credit cards. However, they wouldn't allow me to charge the entire cost of the roof so I just paid with a personal check. It seems they'll accept credit cards for smaller transactions like roofing repairs.

Did hail damage work a little less than a year ago. Fast, Friendly, and very reasonably priced. Had one issue after the fact and they responded within a couple of days and had issue fixed. Don't know what else you could ask for.

I contacted Apex Roofing regarding some repairs I needed on my roof. Within minutes of requesting a quote, I received a reply from Mike stating that he would have Brad Pharr contact me directly. Brad came out to the house and we looked over the repairs that I needed and he gave me a very reasonable quote on the spot. We scheduled the repair for the very next week. Brad and his crew fixed what needed to fixed and cleaned up all of the old roofing material. They were very professional and didnt try and sell us more than we needed. Brad and Apex will be my first call for any future roof needs that may arise. This company understands customer service and I would highly recommend them for any roofing need.

Mike and Personnel did an outstanding job repairing our tile roof after several of the barrel tiles broke apart. This caused a leakage in our hallway area. Mike repaired all of the areas in no time at all, he also discovered other damaged areas that were not on the invoice and repaired them as well. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for roofing service. Mike, Thank you and your team for such a professional job!
