great job on my roof over ordered and you never got a permit so i can't get the discounts on my insurance ( you know them the guys who paid your over inflated price)

If I could post a zero star rating I would. After 6 weeks the never even applied for a permit nor did the order the roof shingles. I followed up with them ever other week to find out when they would move forward and got nowhere. When I did speak with someone he had nothing but excuses and did had zero accountability for doing absolutely nothing in 6 weeks. I was clearly upset about it and I was told I was rude like I was supposed to be pleasant about the fact that the did nothing but take my check for 6 weeks. Then I was told I was stopping them from doing their job. I signed the contract and paid and they did nothing but give me excuses. After speaking to the manager with the big bag of excuses I ask to speak to his boss and he said it was only the owner on top of him and I said I would like to speak with him. Never got a call from him on an email say I have been refunded but I have yet to see a check from them. I could have hire someone else and had a new roof completed by now but they totally have sandbagged me. You should hire someone else these people have zero integrity, and refuse to be accountable for their actions or lack there of.

Sales person used the words ""at no expense to you"". I confirmed this multiple times before engaging with Apex. The sales person knocked on my door. I wasn't interested at first. What caught my attention was the fact that they had a legal team working for getting peoples roofs replaced and that they could get my roof replaced with no out of pocket expense to me. I signed all of the paperwork and worked with them to get my insurance claim done. A few weeks go buy and a guy shows up to help me pick out my shingles. This is when i find out that I will have to pay $2500. Please be aware! When the sales person uses the words ""at no expense to you"", it is a lie and a scam.

I waited 3 weeks for a quote from this company. They would not write me out a proposal/work contract and did not call or show up the day they said they were coming. Lousy customer service, poor communication and very inconsiderate work ethic.

Absolutely the WORST roofing company to try and do business with! The contractor took my money for ""fixing"" the problem and said that if the problem continues to just call them to get back out there. Well the problem came back with the very next heavy rain! I called and called and left messages upon messages, both with the answering machine AND with live people, who would always say they will call me back. No call back. No responses in any shape or form. They basically took my money and now I'm out $250 and left with the same issue for which I called them out in the first place. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!

I only gave them one star because I had to. I wouldn't even give them that! My roof replacement began August 8th, when I got home, the wooden fence was broken off. Josh said it broke when he tried to open it....... On August 9th, I came home to water everywhere and realized it was from the roof. I called and Josh came out to look at the water and apparently they knew water had gotten in the home since one part of the roof was not covered during a rain event that day. No one called me, I just walked in to the situation after work. Josh came out that night and looked at the damage in the attic and in the home. He assured me that he would have Servpro or someone out the next day. That did not happen, the roofers had a carpet cleaner to get the water out of the carpet but that was it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he would send them out but after calling on August 14th, he sent DKI out the next day. They dried out the attic and made sure there was no sign of mold. The roofers used my items in the yard (water hose, patio furniture, planter, etc). to hold their items down, take breaks, and what ever but did not return them to their original state and blocked my back door with their equipment. The roofers rang my doorbell at 6:15 Sunday morning because they needed to use my pliers for their compressor! I put my toolbox out for them and later found it dumped out and not put back! The roofer let me know on August 14th that the roof was complete. August 15th, the roofers came to get their dumpster from my driveway but left their pallets, boxes of nails, and other supplies in my driveway. I moved the items so I could get in my garage. Their were nails and shingles everywhere in my yard. I was unable to get in touch with Josh. August 17th, Chris from Apex called because Josh was unavailable. I explained the debris (nails and shingles) was not cleaned up and he thought it was done. He assured me if he had to do it himself that he would be out in the next couple of days. That never happened. To make a long story short, it is now September 13th (36 days later) and the nails and shingles are STILL scattered, the shingles on the roof were just thrown on there, the satellite was supposed to be removed, the gate was to be fixed, and each time there is correspondence, they say they thought it was taken care of!!!

I would not recommend Apex roofing to anyone. I realize mistakes happen but the follow up and customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!! I hope this is seen by the right person at the company so maybe someone will come complete the job they were hired to do!!! This is unacceptable for any company!

My sister is fighting with APEX. They took her insurance check to keep it on file until the work was completed. They cashed the check without any signatures on it and have not done ANY work in the month after taking the job. 5 missed appointments and now they want to send her a partial refund and make her keep the over priced materials they had dropped off! I think not. Come get your stuff out of the yard and refund the entire check amount.

Three issues here:
Taking more work than you can complete.
Cashing a check you had no LEGAL right to.
Trying to make people pay marked up prices for materials you dropped off and never got around to using.

These aren't the small guys who will over charge you, smoke around your property, and are rude. Apex crews are top notch and they really care about fitting your budget. They work hand in hand with your insurance company and make it so easy. They always give FREE quotes, give them a call!
