An honest roofer who does good work and charges reasonably. They came on time for the estimate. They did a thorough inspection. Then, they explained to me what my roof needed and didn't need. They gave me a timely estimate. They promptly scheduled me for the repair. The workers came on time, did a fabulous job and left the premise clean. I was lucky to have run into this roofing company.

Apex was contracted to replace the roof of the building where my business is located in Santa Monica. This was an intensive project as the the roof had been patched over many times. There were in fact three roofs that had to be removed to put a proper roof on the building.

The team from Apex worked together seamlessly. They were were diligent in their duties and never seemed to stop working except for a quick lunch break. The owner, Rich is organized, professional and extremely knowledgable about his craft.

Rich and his team were placed in a difficult situation by the general contractor doing the remodeling work on a unit next door to my business (please see my review of Carnevale & Son Construction and make sure to never use them).

There was an extra large air conditioning unit installed BEFORE the roof work was scheduled which was a terrible mistake by the general contractor. This pushed back the timeline of the job and made things extra difficult for Rich and his team. The team from Apex barely blinked at the terrible situation they were put in. They adapted quickly and got the job done. I have great confidence in the work they did and that the roof will not leak water into the shops below.

I highly doubt that the job you use Apex for will be close to as complicated as this job. You can have confidence that Apex Roofing will do a great job for you!

I highly recommend Apex. Amazing Work! Timely as weather permitted. Respectful of noise to tenants as well as clean up at end of each day. Highly Recommend!

Ed was fair in his pricing and didn't find extra work to bill on, just what was needed to get the roof to a sound condition. We are fixing a place up so we will be coming back to Apex after we have completed a handful of other repairs and upgrades and can get around to replacing the roof.

Unreliable and invasive! Wouldn't return our phone calls for an estimate - then after we hired another, reliable company, showed up unannounced, climbed onto our roof and looked into the bathroom skylights with NO PRIOR NOTICE! Completely invasive (not to mention illegal). There are definitely better companies - at least one which is very responsive and provides a warranty on labor. Beware!
