I wish I could give Luis 10/5 stars. I received his contact information from my coworker. His prices are reasonable and I am so glad he came over to help me with my roof. After Hurricane Hilary, my house had 2 major leaking spots and he fixed both of them in one day. He explained what had happened that caused the leak in detail and because I could not go up the roof to check it for myself, he kindly took the photos and sent them over to me. He is an incredibly busy man and it takes some time to schedule an appointment. I am very very happy with the result and I have already recommended him to my neighbors who have the same house model as me.

Luis and his helper did a wonderful job on our patio and garage roof. They also cleaned up and left the yard looking better. We were also pleased that they saved our original 1920's gutters.

I chose Apex because the company was highly recommended by Jose Padilla of RGG Gutters with whom I had an excellent experience. I highly value referrals from those who have done a good job for me. I also know that roof repairs can be priced all over the place. I've been in the construction trades for over 30 years. Luis showed up on time to inspect and assess the roof. Within 10 minutes, I could tell that he was the type of person I was looking for. I live in a home built in 97 with a concrete tile roof. That's about when he left the new housing roofing business and went on his own. He told me what he thought was causing the problems. Proceeded to get his ladder and climb up on the roof. I could hear him sliding the concrete tiles around. Came down with photos and explained to me why my leaks were occurring. His explanation included information on how my roof was installed and what the code was at that time. All made sense. My guess was a price of around $1500. He came in at $1800. He explained in detail how he was going to do the repairs. His price included any wood replacement, metal replacement and tile replacement. He found a few on the backside of the house that were broken. He came back on the day of our appointment with an assistant, on time! Came back and worked the second day until about 3 PM by himself. He would come and explain to me what he had done to each of the parts of the roof that he repair. Documented all the repairs. He was professional, courteous, and cleans up. In the end, I think the price was fair after seeing the time that he had to spend to properly repair the roof. I would refer him as well.

Luis is an honest guy with an honest price. I have had several estimates prior to calling Apex. All were soooo high and they wanted to do more then what was needed. Luis knows what he is doing and a great person who is trustworthy. He also gives a 1 year warranty and explains everything. He also showed me photos of what my roof looked like, which was bad but my roof looks awesome now !

I cannot say enough about Apex Roofing Co. I have a flat roof and have had problems with the scuppers leaking water into the house. I had 3 roofers work on the scuppers with no success. Luis came out and explained why the scuppers continued to leak after repair. He fixed the problem and we no longer have problems with the scuppers.
Now Apex Roofing is putting on a reflective protection coating on my roof and is doing a great job. The attention to detail is amazing. Luis has repaired all the areas needing attention before applying the reflective protection coating. In addition he has worked on the side of the house to prevent possible water leakage from the rain. Apex Roofing quality of work excellent, I highly recommend Luis and his crew for a job well done.

We have used Luis with Apex Roofing twice for leaks in our roof over the years. We live in a 2-story home with a tile roof. The first time we called Apex Luis came out the next day and gave us an estimate of $1100 for the job that involved removing a section of roof down to the plywood. His was less than half of the other estimates we had received. He ended up replacing the underlayment (tar paper) and a number of tiles. The replacement tiles he sourced were a slightly different color due to the age of our roof, so he took some original tiles off the back of the house to match the tiles he replaced from the front of the house (observable from the street). He then put the new tiles on the back of the house. When done, he charged us $900 for the job because he thought the project was not as involved as he originally thought. That is why we called him for our second roof leak quite a few years later. We have recommended Apex to others, and they have always used Apex and been thrilled with the work and the cost. If you are 30 miles or so within Riverside and not using Apex, you are paying too much and not getting the quality of work you could be receiving. Call them!!

I discovered a roof leak the other week during one of Southern Cals rare rainy days. I have a Spanish tile type of roof and I was not about to climb on it to see what the problem was. I was refered to Apex Roofer and Luis via a friend. I called him on a Sunday and he came out the following day (very rare to get someone out the following day for a leaky roof). He found the problem (slipped tile and worn out paper) and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He returned as promised and completed the work in a timely manner. I found Luis to be very honest and knowledgeable about his work. Most roofers don't want to be bothered with such a small job. I now know who I'll be calling when its time for a new roof.
