Apex sent 2 young girls to my home a day before Helene. They said my wife told them about missing shingles (a lie). They did a 3 minute roof check and produced a small torn off shingle. After pushy sales pitch I sent them on their way, later checked my roof and could not find any issues, not even curled shingles or missing shingles. So I strongly suggest record them if they come to your house. Attorney General and BBB will be your next call.

My nightmare started with Apex Roofing on February 2, 2022. I signed a contract with them because they said it would cost me no more than $1500, my insurance deductible, to replace the complete roof that had damage from a September 2021 storm. They said they had an attorney that would fight for me if my insurance refused. Well, Allstate refused to pay, and Morgan Law Group took over. The Attorney Philp Rhodes and most of the staff there are the most unprepared people to give you a status of what's going on with my case! I still have a damaged roof as of today, August 3, 2024, and am going through my 3rd hurricane season with it. A chunk of the shingles blew off during hurricane Nicole in 2022, hitting my my prestine condition 2019 Camry scratching the paint and glass sunroof. My Geico insurance refused to pay for the damage, saying this is a home insurance issue. The attorney was sent pics of the damage, and I told him to get Allstate to pay for this, too, or get a denial letter from them so I can go back to Geico. No results there either! So now here I am at 63 with a replaced hip, having to replace my own tarps on my roof because Apex said they would do it if I paid them $450! These blue tarps last about 3 months if you're lucky. So long story short, if you want destroyed nerves and with zero support, then the Apex Roofing & Morgan Law Group is the team to go with.

Apex Roofing and Restoration has been a nightmare and their referral of Morgan Law Group as only increased the dissatisfaction with my experience. Many of my calls and emails got no response. Apex Roofing prices were off the chart. Morgan Law Group took 25% of the settlement and denied me a copy of their billing despite our agreement of 10% plus expenses. Apex will take 15% of the settlement. It is my opinion that Apex Roofing are scammers. I would not recommend Apex Roofing nor their cohort, Morgan Law Group.

Terrible experience. A man named Derek Contestato left a card on my porch after Hurricane Ian. I called about a repair to my roof. He came over and had someone call me later, a man named Liam. He came to the house, and we agreed on a price. He did the repair, and guaranteed the work until I leave my home. I paid him $1200. Next time it rained, it was still leaking. Liam came back and did a leak test, determined exactly what the problem was and said he would be back. Then no response to my calls/messages. I contacted Mr. Contestato and he said he would get info as to why. Then he also stopped responding. It still leaks water into my home when it rains. I am a widow and single mother. $1200 is a lot of money to me. Stay far, far away from this company!! These people have no integrity.

This has been the worst experience, ever. I should have known when they came like sharks to my door, but the roof was old and did have hail damage. Did I get a new roof? Yes. Does it still leak? Yes. Is it the SAME leak that ONLY occurs with very hard rain, so it had been months before it leaked bad again? Yes. So is it out of warranty? Yup...you guessed it. They came out and ""fixed"" it once, but since that was done and the warranty is up, too bad. Now I'm stuck with a leaking chimney and hundreds of more dollars in sheetrock/ceiling texture repair.

During the process, they would just show up (not scheduled), they left a ton of materials on my property, and overall had ZERO communication skills. Maybe you will have better luck, but I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy based on my experience.

Want to know why there's a homeowners insurance crisis in Florida? One of their ""sales"" people just came to my door and tried to push the ""free"" roof insurance scam on me. I told him I wasn't interested. He then became belligerent and insulting. The classic reaction of a low-life scammer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Two men with Apex knocked on my door this afternoon telling me they can offer me a FREE roof! I didn't laugh, but I told them this was an HOA neighborhood, with NO Solicitation, and they said they were not soliciting. I told them that yes, they were. I asked if they had a permit to solicit, and they said they didn't need one. Whoever is in charge of APEX in Port Orange area, explain to your worker-bees, that if an HOA community, with NO Solicitation, they need to respect this. I already have a roofer in mind for roof replacement. Astro Roofing, Jimmy.

Dominic (Daytona Beach location) showed up at my front door offering a free evaluation of my roof for possible damage that might warrant a replacement, to be covered by insurance carrier with but a $1000 deductible. He took less than 2 minutes on the roof to determine it would warrant replacement with nothing but the deductible as my portion of payment. I explained that after hurricane Ian I had the insurance company inspect the roof and they found it had no appreciable damage. I refused to sign the SERVICE AUTHORIZATION CONTRACT & LETTER OF PROTECTION before discussing it with my insurance agent.
Reviewing the contract, it states ""Client agrees that any portion of work , deductibles, betterment, depreciation, or additional work requested by the undersigned, NOT COVERED BY BY INSURANCE, must be paid by the undersigned on or before it completion."" As pointed out by my insurance agent, since the insurance company had already denied the claim, it would thus again be denied and I would have been stuck paying the full amount of the roof replacement.
There was nothing Dominic could have said to assure me otherwise.
My roof is but 11 years since replaced, also making it questionable that there was damage enough to warrant the replacement.
I don't trust these people one bit.

Apex received my insurance settlement check, after mortgage co and myself endorsed it as my insurance company UPC was on the verge of going insolvent. They got my 23,000 check deposited it. Waiting to hear if it will clear. Got confirmation from insurance company it did. I have proof and copy of cashed check. So attorney who Apex referred to also got 9,000 who cashed fine. I either want my funds back or my roof replaced ASAP as I can't get new insurance without the replacement.
