I would give this ""company"" a zero if possible. They are shady door to door salesman that pray on people in distress. What legitimate company knocks on doors only to target the elderly. They make you sign a contract that is presented as only an estimate to fix damages.
When they delay getting the insurance money, the homeowner goes to others to fix their roof to halt any damage to their home. BUT WAIT, that wasn't an estimate it was a contract and you now owe this SHADY ""company "" 15% of your settlement for absolutely NO work done. This company is pure EVIL and I hope there is a special place for them. Shame on you for praying on distressed elderly.

They gave great lip service until the end of their project. Our community became a storage area for their material that they didn't use and it's taken months to get it removed. (8/28/23 and it's still here). Many broken dates of when it would be removed pinning the community against each other. Now a hurricane is moving in and we are afraid that the materials will end up all over the neighborhood. Still no concern from the company. Guess when you have money, us little communities get treated disrespectfully. All we have asked for in the last few months is to remove your stuff. It's an eyesore, rats and snakes have settled in and all the grass around these huge piles are dead. Come on Apex, hope you do better moving forward.

I really hope other comminuties who are thinking of hiring Apex to reconsider. They have left our community a DISASTER. Their garbage has been here for 4+ months so we had to get legal involved. There is more... Their roofing work seems to be good but they left holes in most of our lanais. They also failed to meet the deadline so we all owed over 1k in extra HOA fees. They even team up with a lanai repair company because ruining lanais is so common. Don't do it!! I've been waiting for 4 months to have my lanai fixed and they keep postponing it. I wake up every morning and open my blinds to overlook the lake with all the mess from the roofers. They also left nails all over the community and reimbursed my neighbors for the hole in their tire.

Apex Roofing is taking advantage of the Elderly in Lee County.
A contract signed in January 2022 before Hurricane Ian, still has not completed this 91 year old woman and refusing to complete her roof and are telling her she is still in a contract, and still they (Apex) are threatening her that if she hires someone else , she owes them several thousands of dollars.
Not only was her roof leaking before Hurricane Ian, now she has blue tarp since September 30, 2023.
Apex needs to be investigated.
Apex is not a reliable roofing company

This is the United States of America and the official language is English. First I must make it clear that I don't care what race or nationality contractors are, but Apex had a team of hispanics replace my roof and I was not able to speak with them because none of them spoke a work of English. If I could have talked with them I could have told them that the fascia that they crumpled when they removed it was not suitable to be put back and that they had lost a piece of soffit which they needed to find or replace. After several calls to Apex I have seen no action to replace the soffit or fascia that their team lost or ruined. I now have to deal with raccoons in the attic. Would I recommend people use Apex for their roofing problems..... ABSOLUTELY NOT.

If I ever doubted company website reviews were accurate or not, I know for sure they are not. Stay clear of APEX Roofing & Restoration, they have one of the worst reputations in the business. They will tell you that your insurance company will pay for the new roof. They then write up an inaccurate report detailing damages that never occurred. They have you sign an Assignment of Benefits which basically allows them to deal with the insurance company themselves. Once the insurance company denies the claim, APEX will tell you ""This is where we come in"" and that they are 99.9% sure the company will pay. The second denial comes in saying that there were inaccuracies on the report and that it was poorly written. APEX then disappears, leaving us with a bad roof during a category 4 hurricane. I read some of the review prior and should have used my better judgement. Stay away from this headache. Also visit BBB.org for this company. There are so many good roofing companies out there. Any but this one.

If I could post a zero star rating I would. After 6 weeks the never even applied for a permit nor did the order the roof shingles. I followed up with them ever other week to find out when they would move forward and got nowhere. When I did speak with someone he had nothing but excuses and did had zero accountability for doing absolutely nothing in 6 weeks. I was clearly upset about it and I was told I was rude like I was supposed to be pleasant about the fact that the did nothing but take my check for 6 weeks. Then I was told I was stopping them from doing their job. I signed the contract and paid and they did nothing but give me excuses. After speaking to the manager with the big bag of excuses I ask to speak to his boss and he said it was only the owner on top of him and I said I would like to speak with him. Never got a call from him on an email say I have been refunded but I have yet to see a check from them. I could have hire someone else and had a new roof completed by now but they totally have sandbagged me. You should hire someone else these people have zero integrity, and refuse to be accountable for their actions or lack there of.

Derek and his team at Apex has fought for me and many of my neighbors for funds that our insurance companies really should be asked to pay. Apex helps our community In these stay at home times when a secure, water tight home is a high priority.
It is good to have an honest friend in the roofing business here in Southwest Florida.

I was probably the last house in my neighborhood to get their roof repaired from when Irma hit us in 2017. After I had originally made my claim shortly after Irma hit, the inspector my insurance company (UPC) sent out said it was ""minor damage"" and quoted repairs well below my deductible. I figured that all was fine, until a few years later John Roof a sales rep for Apex Roofing happen to drive by my house and asked to take a look. I figured I had nothing to loose, and within seconds he told me that I had over three layers of shingles (former owner was a contractor and probably did the jobs himself), which was ""unrepairable"" and required total removal and replace of the shingles. Long story short, they got the replacement approved by the insurance company, and I had a new roof. Replacement only took 3 days and few sleepless mornings (I work nights). Everyone their was nice, and easy to work with... wish more companies operated like them.
