I usually don't write reviews but my experience with Apache Roofing went off without a hitch. Work was as scheduled and completed on time ( 5 says). Price was very competitive and there were no surprises. Mel is very easy to communicate with and oversaw the progress daily. The clean up after the new roof was fully in place was outstanding.

Mel from Apache roofing was referred to me by my neighbor. I'm glad he did because I had no issues whatsoever with Apache roofing.
Their quotes were competitive, they had dates available within 2 weeks of contacting them. They did work in about 2 days, and got the inspection done the week after the work was done.
Mel specifically was very approachable and super quick in answering questions I had about the work.
We ended up installing Presidential TL Solaris shingles from them and I think it looks beautiful.

My solar contractor referred me to Apache because he had worked with them on many projects together and upon checking their excellent Yelp reviews I contacted them. Mel came over the next day to inspect the roof and discussed what was needed. I received a quote from him same evening and it was pretty competitive. I was waiting on a couple other roofers to provide me their quotes. Mel later beat everyone's quotes by a lot and agreed to do my roof, gutters, and fix the damaged wood. He recommended that we install the radiant barrier OSB & continuous ridge vent to keep my attic cooler and lower my utility bills. We also decided to install a sun-tunnel. Removal of existing roof and installing new roof took 4 days and Mel's crew (especially Albert) were extremely efficient and very polite. They came on time (sharp 8AM everyday), did their job really well, and cleaned up every day before they left. At the end, Mel's brother Jim came in again to clean up the second time so that there were no nails or wood left on the property. Overall we were extremely happy with their service and more importantly their price was reasonable too.

Alfonso came out to look at my roof, which has been leaking for quite some time. Since it had just rained, he wanted to wait until the roof dried out a bit before making the repairs. He called me on Christmas Eve and said he wanted to come by to complete the work because it was supposed to rain the next day. Less than an hour later, he was on my roof taking care of it. Wonderful customer service and genuine care. Thank you!

I normally don't write reviews but my experience with Apache Roofing was seamless and an overall enjoyable experience. Who would think replacing a roof would be enjoyable but working with Mel and his crew at Apache made it super easy. They were recommended from a solar company whom worked with them before. From the time he came to my house for a site visit he was very honest giving me recommendations and not pressuring me at all, nicest guy. I got his quote as promised and to my surprise he was significantly lower than the other 8 quotes I got, they are a smaller roofing company with lower overhead. But that wasn't the only reason they were chosen, the first impression I got from Mel was that he was a straight shooter and is proud of the work they do. By the time we signed the contract he was able to schedule a window and come that following week to start. He quoted me the job would take 3 1/2 days for roof and gutters. His crew showed up on time and they stayed into the evenings, they were a bunch of dedicated hard workers. The crew always showed up on time and didn't start too early to disturb the neighbors, they were also very polite and even though it was super hot they were always smiling. There was a in process inspection with the city and it was recommended they add some vents, which he communicated to me which we added. The job was completed ahead of schedule in just 3 days with the inspection with the city the following week. And they cleaned up a lot of the debris after the job was done. The roof looks amazing and should pass the final inspection with the city.

Also on the a side note, Mel did notice my window frames had dry rot and included in the proposal to repair those too. He mentioned they are also general contractors so they can also do minor general repairs. Roofing companies charge extra to terminate or dry rot on the boards which is always additional, his prices for those was also significantly cheaper.

To summarize Apache was very easy to work with, very affordable, did an amazing job, no frills and won't try to upsell you anything. To me the owner Mel is very focused on making the customer happy and doing a good job. I would highly recommend looking into Apache Roofing, I got the nicest roof and gutters on the street.

Mel, Jimmy, Albert, Alfonso, and crew are top-notch people and roofers. I signed the contract on Monday, and they literally came the next day to do some measurements, and then the day after that (Wednesday) to start the work. They told us it would take 5-6 days, and it took exactly that--they re-did our whole flat roof in six days (and re-painted the trim), 7 AM-6 PM every day--no fuss, no additional charges, just a solid and professional job all around. My new roof looks terrific, and most importantly, multi-layered, with no possibility of leaks. The roof came with a 10-year leak warranty and 30-year manufacturer's warranty. Thanks again, guys! You all are the best!

After tearing off my roof, crew pounded all the nails down. In the attic all the nails poked through over an inch. I was a shingle roofer for roofing companies for 8 years. We NEVER pounded nails down after a tear-off, always pulled them. The nails stick up after a tear-off so they're easy to grab. Takes about an hour for a crew to go over a roof and pull all the nails. Takes about 15 minutes to go through and pound them all down.

My dad got four bids, and Mel's bid was the most thorough and detailed, at the most competitive price. Replacement gutters and additional vents were included in the price. His crew started on time, worked efficiently, left the area clean, and finished fast. They even trimmed some branches in the way. Mel handled the permit and provided a detailed accounting of the repair work completed, which could not be evaluated before the old layer of shingles was removed. In all interactions, he was respectful of and honorable toward my elderly dad, as if he was a relative. My dad, an experienced do-it-your-selfer, was impressed with the quality of workmanship and grateful for such a painless process and great result.
