My dad got four bids, and Mel's bid was the most thorough and detailed, at the most competitive price. Replacement gutters and additional vents were included in the price. His crew started on time, worked efficiently, left the area clean, and finished fast. They even trimmed some branches in the way. Mel handled the permit and provided a detailed accounting of the repair work completed, which could not be evaluated before the old layer of shingles was removed. In all interactions, he was respectful of and honorable toward my elderly dad, as if he was a relative. My dad, an experienced do-it-your-selfer, was impressed with the quality of workmanship and grateful for such a painless process and great result.

Great experience with Apache and Mel. My roof is gorgeous! He helped me figure out what materials I wanted, shopped around to find me a really sharp composite shingle. All of my neighbors are so jealous. They handled all of the permit stuff, and the employees are all really nice, helpful, easy-going.

Mel, the owner of Apache Roofing, was AWESOME! After I received Apache Roofing's quote I knew right away that Apache Roofing was the company I was choosing to put on our new roof. Mel is a very friendly, conscientious and respectable guy. I was impressed with his knowledge and how important to him that we would be completely satisfied with the whole process and the completed roof. Best of all Mel said the work would be done in a couple of days!
All of his employees were friendly, respectful and cleaned up everything like they were never there. Mel also did not let us pay him the balance until we received the permit and other paperwork that was sent to my email. He truly wants the customer to be happy with his work and we were! WE LOVE OUR NEW ROOF!

I contacted Apache Roofing when I found out there was a leak near my chimney. The owner Mel answered the phone and gave me a quote a few hours later. His price was reasonable. I could not have been more impressed by Apache Roofing, very reasonable priced with no hidden costs. Mel provided us with a list of similar type of roofs that we interested in the area that we could look at. Mel's show room is the bay area. When we finally made the decision to go with Mel. His crew came out a few days earlier than scheduled to beat the rain and made sure the roof was completely sealed before it started raining. Everyone was very professional and worked rain or shine. Mel is very easy guy to talk to and was quick to return calls and very responsive.

Called Mel to inspect my roof due to a leak into my garage. Easy guy to talk to. His crew showed up a few days later on time. Was a small job but never the less he was professional and finished in half a day, like he said it would.

Apache Roofing were amazing! We were supposed to have our roof done by our old contractor and we had to replace him so when it came time to do the roofing it was already a last-minute job. They were recommended by our new contractor and came out immediately (on a Saturday no less) to quote us. Quote was reasonable and very comprehensive - included large house (2000+ sqft), patio area, new decking, eaves, and tear off/disposal of wood shingles and replaced with a high-end composite shingle (""presidential"" style, I think it was called).

They booked the work for a couple of weeks later and showed up right on time, first thing in the morning on the date promised. Their crew was not fooling around - they had the existing roof off in a couple of hours and bundled in very neat rolls ready to haul away, which was really appreciated. Most crews would just toss the old stuff on the ground and then pick it up later, but with kids/dogs that leaves staples, nails, and sharp wood splinters. With this removal, you couldn't even tell it was done afterwards. They replaced the decking with a really good insulative panel and all weather sheeting.

The crew were amazing. There were a ton of them that basically swarmed the house to finish it off quickly. The first day of tearoff, they worked almost to dark to ensure it was all re-decked and covered properly. They worked on Saturday to get it done so we wouldn't be living in a house with a 1/2 finished roof over the weekend, and they scheduled the inspection for first thing Monday. They even ended up doing a little gazebo roof to match even though we hadn't included it in the original quote. Best of all, the final result is fantastic. Roof looks amazing - better than some of our neighbors! And we sleep soundly really feeling like it was done with quality.
