I'm not one to write reviews on Yelp but felt a need to put in a good word for Anthony. This is long overdue but hope others will find this helpful. I hired Anthony back in 2004 to replace our old tar and gravel roof. I picked Anthony to do the work after speaking to and getting estimates from several roofing contractors. I remember Anthony to be really nice and professional. I could tell from his experience in speaking with him, being a DIYer myself. I told him about how badly the old roof leaked and he recommended a torch down roof for a replacement. What he mentioned in his estimate was how he was going to rebuild the roof access opening, put in replacement gutter spouts, and new vent covers. The added bits he mentioned were not items the other roofers I spoke with had mentioned. To me, this was describing the added effort on Anthony's part to ensuring a higher quality roof replacement job. The quality of his work is visible in some of the things he did to ensure water tightness between potentially problematic seams in the roofing material. Overall, excellent job. The roof is still holding up strong and leak-free after twelve years.

All in all, I highly recommend Anthony's Roofing and would hire Anthony again.

Anthony just finished our roof at our house in Pacifica and it really looks great ! He showed me all the details for the roofing job and used nothing but the best materials to do it. The mastery of his trade showed in every aspect and situation of our roofing job and pointed us out for dry rot issues in other sections of our house. The areas of dry rot at our roof area were repaired quickly and at a very reasonable price by him. His charges for the job were the lowest of four bids taken before final selection. He and his crew worked hand in hand without wasting any time arriving very early in the morning and leaving late afternoon for 3 days. All minute details were correctly addressed and beautifully finished. We strongly recommend Anthony for your roofing needs.

Hard to review how well the work is, because it would need to rain, bbefore I could tell if leak is fixed.
Anthony responded right away and came to access roof within a day. He took pictures of the roof area where water was seeping through my wall. He seemed extremely knowledgable on what needed to be done and assured me he could sovle the problem. He was right on time for the work and worked all day, I really felt like he was kinda old school.(in a good way) He just seemed to know his stuff.

We hired Anthony's Roofing after buying our new home in San Francisco. He was recommended by the prior owners, although they did not use him when they moved in over 18 years prior. They heard from a friend recently that he was a good roofer.

When he first arrived to provide an estimate, he clearly differentiated himself from the other roofers we considered because he listened to us and took the time to make sure we understood what he can do and how his materials were superior to others proposed (like a foam roof). He showed up on time and we never felt rushed in any way. We liked the fact that he would be here doing the work himself and supervising his helpers personally.

During the job, he kept us informed while doing the work and he cleaned up at the end of each work day. He arranged for the permits, placed no parking permits in front of our home, and coordinated with the inspector for approval. We never worried that the job would be done properly. We had some skylights installed at the same time and are pleased with them. After the roof was done, Dish came and installed their equipment on the roof improperly. Anthony was quick to come out and fix their problem and make recommendations for where the dish should have been installed. We have a small air well that also needs a new roof and he will be coming back to do this soon. He also provided us before and after pictures for our records and insurance.

Lastly and most important, Anthony provides integrity and honesty. He is not reluctant to provide his advice and opinion when it involves the roof and he knows what he is talking about. He clearly wants to do a good job for you and works extremely hard to make sure you will be happy. Now, we may not really know if the roof was done properly until it rains or we go through a few years with it. But with Anthony, you just get a feeling that it was done properly and it will last a long time.

Anthony did a great job. Always on time and gave an accurate estimate. We had work done on our light well and it came in on budget. He's professional and tells you exactly what is wrong and how he is going to fix it. Also does the work himself with help from his workman. Overall great job.

Following a heavy rain several weeks ago in which we experienced moderate interior water damage, I contacted Anthony to inspect our roof, from which I suspected the leak had originated. The roof was last replaced 7 years ago by a different firm. Later that day Anthony arrived at the house. He spent an hour with me thoroughly evaluating my roof (and suspected leak). He discovered the problem, which turned out to be a faulty drainage pipe, which he then made several recommendations on how best to correct. He refused any fee, despite my offers. He was knowledgeable, accessible, and extremely pleasant.

So I did not end up choosing Anthony's Roofing to do my repair, but i would just like to add that this roofing company out of the 6 that I have called was the only one that came on time. We scheduled for him to come between 10AM-11AM and he came at 9:30AM.

Anthony is honest and competent, Straight talker and no nonsense. He answered immediately and came out quickly. He was patient when my contractor scheduled a day he could come, then Anthony got there, and they were not ready. He simply said he would come back.

I had him do some extras and he did a splendid job, not only on the roof, but the metal custom gutter. I also like that he does his own work with his own workmen; he is up there with the crew not only supervising but doing the work.

Does good work for a reasonable price. Works with you and is flexible.

As a side note, a neighbor asked him about installing a new a roof because of a leak on the front side of her house. He had the integrity to say that it might not be her roof and that she should check out some other possible sources of water entry before replacing the roof.
