Absolutely the best roofer in the keys!! I had a trailer slide out leaking I called he came right out and gave me quote! Back next dry day and sealed my roof and fixed my leak! Next rain I still had a small leak which he came right back out and fixed! this was a strange leak situation so it took a bit extra but he did it right away! My roof doesn't leak anymore! He called a few times to ensure I was happy! Great quality work! Great responsiveness! Great service at a reasonable price! Definitely recommend!!

I hired Richard to fix 4 leaks in a concrete roof, he came out gave a nice estimate, and did the job, very professional and in 3 working days job was done, he cleaned up and took all the trash with him. I would surely hire him again on the other properties i manage,

As I sit here typing this review, I have to remain calm based on my experience today. I called Andy the Roofer - because of his expertise. Was I fooled. Here it goes - Richard Trachuk (or whatever the person's correct name is) came by a couple of days ago. A small leak was heard above our living room. Richard came by - went on the roof and did a very quick evaluation. Stated I needed a new ridge vent which included installation and other materials. After assessing the problem, he gave me a quick estimate of $900. I asked if that will solve all my water problems - and he said yes it would and mentioned he had thirty years of experience with this. Since he was in such a big hurry, he was already in his truck ready to drive off to the next appointment - not even giving me the opportunity to really think about it. I called my wife and we agreed to schedule him to come by on a Saturday morning...(We discussed no other times to do the work.) Then two days before the actual appointment - he shows up with his employees, material and all to start work without even asking me if he could come and do the work early. Do you think it was professional simply to show up with letting me know first? What kind of customer service is he providing? Is this how he runs his business? He proceeded to ring my door bell and thought I would not mind the work if done ahead of time. He made clear to me he had all the materials and thought it would be nice for his employees to get off Saturday to do the work today. I told him - why did you not call me first? He mentioned again - he did not think I would mind??? Of course, I did mind. It made a really big difference. If I was not home, would he have done the work in advance without my knowledge? Is that how a professional contractor of 30 years experience conducts business? Then he had the nerve to get angry at me - saying I misrepresented him. I gave no permission to do the work in advance or anything else for that matter. He proceeded to go to his truck and yelled out, ""If you want to find someone else - I have no time for this."" I stood there still trying to figure out what happened - because he was in a rush to give me the estimate and to get the work done. I called him back immediately and made very clear to him not to show up on Saturday. I will definitely take my business elsewhere - with a real professional, a real contractor and someone who understands excellent customer service. If you decide to go with Andy the Roofer - you are making a big mistake. -- they changed hands with the new owner, Richard Trachuk...So think twice about even asking for an estimate from him.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this guy. The original Andy the roofer had a good reputation for doing quality work at a fair price in Port St Lucie that's why I called Andy the roofer when I needed a repair done to my roof I found out to late that the real Andy the roofer is no longer in the roofing business. This so called Andy the roofer is Richard Trachuck who claims that he used to work for Andy the roofer. I feel he is using the good reputation that Andy had for his own personal gain. After I found this out I asked for my 968.00 deposit back he told me he already used it to buy the material. after 3 no shows he finally showed up with 1 sheet of plywood and 2 bundles of shingles.which cost less than a hundred dollars at Lowes and that's all he used for the job so that was lie number one number two was he told me he hand nailed all the shingles and that was a lie he used a nail gun.He worked about 7 hours, used less than a hundred dollars worth of material and charged me 1468 dollars and did a awful job In my opinion this guy is a con artist I checked with the city and this guy hasn't pulled a permit in years. Just to prove that im not bogus as Richard Trachuk stated in his reply to my review I would recommend that if you are thinking about hiring this guy contact me through yelp and I would be more than happy to show you the inferior quality of work that he done on my roof.

I was referred to Andy The Roofer from a friend. Andy sold the business to Richard Trachuk a few years back I called him up for a simple roof repair. He came out and gave me an estimate to fix my roof in addition to suggesting a roof coating for $375.00 and said it would clove the problem . 3 days later it rained and I still had a leak. I called Mr. Trachuk and he informed me he had a few people with more serious problems than me and it would be a week or two which turned into 10 weeks. He had every excuse in the book that I fell for; from a sick child in the hospital, to being out of town and then he stopped answering my phone calls. oh! he also had his brother take one phone call from my wife and still has not called us back since... I had a reputable roofer come out and solve the problem and it was a different problem all together what Richard Trachuk did was smoke and mirrors just applying a ""SPECIAL ROOF COATING "" he took my hard earned money and I have 3 small children and money is tight... This man comes across as a good christen he sucked me and my wife in he is far from a good person. If you're looking for a good roofer call me. I know one now and it's not Richard Trachuk AKA Andy The Roofer. He also gives a 2 year warranty on material and labor but he won't return your phone calls .
