This company is professional and sent someone out to have a first look in a reasonable amount of time. Evidently they are very busy, but things dragged on (as did my roof leaks) for weeks. At the start of the new year someone came out and was ready to give an estimate. Clearly there are design flaws with my house contributing to all of the problems, but I got the impression the estimate was going to suggest a near to total replacement. Since I never saw the estimate, I don't know but the outfit I used offered what sounded to be very practical solutions without such dramatic (and likely expensive) methods.

I think this is a good company that is just too busy to take interest in servicing ""small jobs"". It's still worth giving them a call, but the company I used was able to come out, give an estimate and perform the work within a week. When you have major leaks damaging your drywall, time is of the essence.

I am a first time homeowner and needed to replace my roof due to a bad hail storm. I called two different large roofing companies and received no return call from one and a return call a week later from the other. During that week I contacted Andy Nichols Roofing based strictly on the reviews from this site. Andy returned my call immediately and scheduled an appointment to come to my house the next day. Andy showed up on time, was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He inspected my roof and sat down with me to review the entire process (insurance claim) and answered all of my questions. The claims process went exactly as Andy said it would and within a couple of weeks I was scheduled to have the work done on my roof. The materials were delivered when he said they would be and the work started on the day it was scheduled. That was a big concern of mine because I have seen roofing materials sitting on my neighbor's driveways for days/weeks before the work actually started. The crew was professional and Andy was onsite periodically to check on the work. They even did a sweep of my yard with a metal detector to make sure all of the nails and screws were picked up from my yard. He followed up with me the day the roof was completed to make sure I was happy. I will do business with Andy Nichols Roofing any time I need anything to do with my roof. I highly recommend you do the same...you won't regret it.

This review is based on phone interaction only. I called to check about availability for a roof repair. Andy was very friendly and honest. He explained the status of his crew and possible delay. He encouraged me to call other businesses. He called later the same day to let me know there was a crew member available within 10 minutes. I had just received a call from another company and had accepted their service. Had it not been right before our tropical storm Bill scare (and me scrambling to get the roof repair completed as soon as possible), I would have asked Andy for an estimate and compared bids. Seems like a good company.

Andy was great to work with. He explained everything in detail as to what he was going to do and what it would cost. He did the entire job in one day, they cleaned up all the nails, and the cost was what he quoted me. And best of all, I haven't had any roof problems. I highly recommend him.

This is based off calling Andy to get a quote. I've yet to start work on the roof yet, but if I were to, I'd definitely call him.

Andy was super responsive, and proactive. I was very impressed. He was very honest and helpful and even after giving a quote he called back a few hours later because while he couldn't get out to the house right away, he used google maps to get an aerial shot of the house and give me a more accurate quote. Way to go above and beyond!

Since then he's followed up several times and is overall really helpful. Just the kind of person I'd want on a big job like a roof.

My roof collapsed after a heavy rain. It was time for a replacement and based on the ratings on yelp (even though he only has 1 review), I decided to give him a call for an estimate. He showed up on time. He took his time to evaluate my old roof and noticed that the roof has 2 layers instead of one like newer roof. He gave me an exact estimate of how much everything would cost.
He helped with insurance claiming process. He contacted the insurance person without me having to do anything.
He and his team finished everything in one day and cleaned up all debris. The job was flawless. He also adhered to my HOA's restriction and guidelines (roof color and seam).
He does offer refinance options.
Great process and easy process using him as my roof contractor.

Andy came out and fixed my leaking roof the same day I called him. He also checked all my exhaust fans to make sure they are working properly. He is the best roofer I ever hired.
