Amstill stood out as an ethical and honest company from the first time I spoke with them until after the job was completed. They asked me what I wanted, committed to meeting my expectations, and made good on those commitments, some of which went above and beyond what a standard roof install entailed.

We had a major hailstorm and our area was almost immediately flooded with roofing contractors that wanted our business. I spoke with several of them before Sam approached me and introduced himself. It was very apparent that he stood out from the rest of the solicitors in the manner he presented himself and the way Amstill does business, so I signed a service agreement with them because it was clear they were the right people to get my job done. Within days, other roofers came by, some of which asked me to back out of my signed contract because they would ""treat me better."" The first thing that came to my mind is that if the company asking me to be unethical and break my deal is that casual about doing so, where else are they going to be unethical? I would be kept up at night every time we had a storm wondering if a corner was cut or something wasn't done right. I don't have to worry about that now.

Amstill took care of ALL interactions with my insurance company, leaving me to worry about things like what color shingle I wanted while they worked out the details in bringing the insurance company's initial lowball offer up to what it actually takes to replace a roof in the proper manner.

Amstill demonstrated a real commitment to safety in their proposal, including the fact that anyone on the roof had to have an OSHA compliant harness and be tied off to prevent falls. Lots of roofs have been replaced lately here, and I've watched the crews that did the work - most of them were not tied off. I don't want to risk someone's life just to put a roof on my home - it's just not worth it.

Their entire crew, with Jose at the lead, was courteous, committed to doing the job right, took care of protecting my property, and were done with almost 4600 square feet of shingles, including an immaculate job of cleaning up, in one day. They even sent someone out the next day to be sure there wasn't a single nail, piece of roofing scrap, or sign they had ever been there!

Amstill is fantastic and should be on your list of options if you're looking for a great company to replace your roof.

Amstill was quick to give me a quote for roof repairs. I signed a contract with them, then after about 10 days Amstill said they couldn't do the work because they couldn't match my shingles. I had another roofing company do the work, doing a great job, with existing materials. Amstill's installer never came out to look at the job. My opinion is they would much rather install more profitable new roofs than make less-profitable roof repairs. Don't use Amstill for repair work!

I had them come to my home to check out my roof. I was presented with a quote of $569.00 for three missing shingles. Once I asked why it was so expensive and what about the military discount it went down to $375.00 to replace only (3) shingles. I guess they are charging $100.00 per shingle. Total Rip Off!!!

Had them look at the roof. Water was coming in through the floor in the kitchen when it rained. They found a few leaks in the rusty nails and sealed everything. So far its been a month and no leaks. Great service and a great price for peace of mind. Highly recommended!

I hired this company to do a complete repair on our roof in 2017. 2 years later the same repair has be redone with same areas leaking on the roof. I paid for top recommended materials. I called them to come out and they said they no longer service 3-story buildings. They were quite dismissive. I got another company to come in to inspect and provide a quote which basically means I have to pay for same repair only 2 years later. I do not recommend this company and will never call them again even for my 2-story homes.

Sam ""Made It Right"", I believe in Family owned business in our community. It is those business you see front and center when the community is in need. Sam, Amstill Stilley Roofing was Awesome. He came out to my home and inspected my roof from the inside/out and provided me with a comprehensive review of the issue/leaks. With Hurricane season upon us I welcomed his experience/expertise and no longer in fear when it rain. He and his crew did an AWESOME!!!!!

Would I recommend Sam? YES
Would I recommend Amstill Roofing? Yes
Would I use them in the Future? Yes

Amstill stands by their word and does excellent work. From communication with the front office to working with the supervisor and crew on the job, all expectations were met. Jose Lopez and his crew were especially a pleasure to work with in all aspects of the job; quality of workmanship, speed, and clean-up. I highly recommend Amstill.

Highly recommended! The wife and I had a great experience with
this company. We had researched a total of 5 different roofing companies before deciding on Amstill Stilley Roofing. It was the best decision we have made in a long time. When we met Sam, we were very impressed with his professionalism. Sam also worked with our insurance company in one appointment. He mentioned to us that the job will be done in one day. He was true to his word. The roofers were fast and efficient. These guys know their business and once again very professional. They also took extra care to cleanup all of the debris around the house. The President of the company Mr. Frank Stilly
(and his son, Sam) actually inspected our new roof once the job was complete. Well done, excellent job, guys!

This company has been harassing me to remove my negative Yelp review since last November. They have sent me certified letters, emails, and phone calls, all threatening me to remove my negative review of their service and their company. This is not only a bad company due to their extremely poor customer service, but they believe in harassing and bullying their customers with legal Threats For Several Months Following. They were Paid In Full last year, yet they are still hounding me about the review. They have a horrible management as explained in my earlier review. The owners, in my opinion, do Not care to work with the customers, they seem to only want payment, and their actions shows that they are Bullies who believe in Attorneys rather than one on one conversations with their customers. Yelp has Laws against this type of harassment and Bullying by companies to intimidate the customers to Remove their reviews. Also the 1st Amendment has Laws against gagging someone of their right to Freedom of Speech and Beliefs! It has been Six (6) months since I hired them and they are still Harassing, Intimidating, and Bullying me into removing my 2017 review! Everything I wrote in my 2017 review has been True to my knowledge and True to my beliefs! I did Not make up anything. Everything I complained about is my Honest Opinion per the logical sequence of events that occured that Same Afternoon since your contractors left my property. I will be making a complaint to YELP and the Better Business Bureau regarding your threats, bullying, and hounding me for the last 6 Months!!! STOP HARASSING ME for my True Opinions, but Negative review of your Company!!!! This has caused me much Mental Stress and Time dealing with your hounding these past several months! I have contacted several attorneys regarding your harassment of me and my Honest reviews on Yelp. Again, Cease and Desist from your ongoing bullying me of my review.

I am not happy with this company.

Just a few months before Harvey, I got leaks and broken shingles but the insurance company did not want to pay for it. They literally said that I need to wait for the next hurricane to come and then file a claim again. That is exactly what I did.
After hurricane Harvey, I got more broken shingles and additional leaks. I reached out to Amstill because of the many positive review. I thought they can help me.
The person who came over visually checked my roof from the ground and assured me that he can get my whole roof fixed and that he has done this a lot of times. Even saying that he has gotten houses new roof paid for by the insurance with damages way less than mine. He asked that I have him come the day the insurance adjuster comes so that they can inspect my roof at the same time. But he did not arrive on time. The adjuster was done looking on my roof when he arrived. He then told me that we can dispute the claim if the insurance would not pay for it again. Lo and behold, the insurance company did not want to pay for it again. So I sent the report to the Amstill representative. After 2 months, he finally told me that he had spoken with TWIA but is not able to dispute it and can not do anything about it. I was so frustrated. This is the second roofing company that assured me and got my hopes high in a similar manner.
The bottom line is, I was made to believe that they can help me get a new roof paid for by the insurance and that they have helped many homeowners with the same situation as me. But in the end this company was unable to deliver.

I will try to get another company after the next high wind.
