I am amazed at the number of stellar roofer recommendations I recieved from friends and family. Why is it so hard to find a tile expert that people like?

After several estimates I went with AMK roofing and am so glad I did. They did a great job, on time and at a fair price. The roof has held up great for over 5 years so far (yes this review is long overdue) and they were kind enough to help me prep it for a solar install too!

Totally satisfied with the Quality of Work, Speed of execution and competitive pricing AMK offered.

I went for a presidential TL Certainteed Asphalt Shingles + Tiger Paw underlayment + Low E insulation after getting bid from 3 roofers. All came close but AMK offered lot more for the price other were charging extra. In addition I had some extra wood rot repair and solar standoff installation work.

Whether its the laborious finishing touch on the flashing or repair/replacement of wood rot, the work speaks about AMK's attention to detail and of quality.

Waking up to dust and wood chips falling on your face is not the best way to start your day. A professional roofer would know how to properly prepare for a roofing job such as the one we had done at our apartment. Jose was supposed to tarp the roof of our apartment from the inside to ensure all the dust, particles and wood would not literally blanket the entire inside surface of our home. But instead he hands us plastic covering to cover our furniture ourselves. He said that it wouldnt be that bad so after about 2 hours into the job there was so much debri falling from the roof my husband told him he has to come inside and tarp the roof. And instead he said it will make a mess anyways when they take it off. I mean sure if he just rips it off but he knows he can properly remove the tarp saving us the headache and not to mention health hazard it is for us to breathe all this in. Long story short his team was unprofessional basically making comments about my husband and when he went down to the city to file a complaint, we come to find out they dont even have a permit for the work there doing. This has been the worst experience of my life! Now im going to spend the rest of the night cleaning an utterly horrible mess.

Got a new roof back in July of 2012 so I should of done this 4 years ago! I keep recommending this business, which reminded me I need to write a review. Jose was quick, professional, and has very reasonable prices! I compared prices and looked into other companies, and I am glad I went with AMK! Within a couple of days I had a new roof, and they left everything clean!

Great work and very professional. The owner always answered his phone or returned my call right away if I had any questions. Today there is a strong wind storm and there are zero leaks. Work was done quickly and there were no delays or price changes once the work started. They also had a great reference for gutter people. Thanks again everyone at AMK.

AMK installed our new roof back in August 2012. Jose and his team did a fantastic job and they worked long days to finish in the quoted time frame. To date we have not had any issues. The city inspector even said it was the best roofing job he has seen in a long time!
