All I can say is good things about Amherst Roofing. We had a shingle roof put on at the beginning of this year Jan 2024. Once we paid a down payment I felt like everything moved along quite quickly. Roofing materials were delivered and by the end of that week or the following they started the project. We had not had rain in weeks; the weatherman predicted no rain and of course it ended up raining. Even at that, they protected our roof well. They also covered (blanketed) the perimeter of the house before they started the tear off which helped catch the nails and debris and they cleaned up at the end of every day.

My husband was here when we had the first inspection for the water barrier. He talked with the inspector. The inspector told him that the foreman with Amherst has been with the company for some 20 plus years and does a really good job.

I found Amy in the office to be super nice and helpful. Brittney who does the billing is right on the ball with invoicing and answering any questions by email. Tim is a nice honest guy, he always gave us a heads up the day before the crew was going to be at our house. They were all so helpful if I had any questions. In addition they were easily accessible by phone, text or email which to me is important.

Amherst did a really nice job on my roof. I would not hesitate to use Amherst Roofing again for any of my roofing needs.

Post hurricane our seven weeks old roof held without any damage.

We had three estimates for replacement of eight roofs at our condominium development. We chose Amherst here's why.

Tim was friendly, he gave us the best price. Others said they couldn't get the light gray shingles we wanted. Tim said no problem and there was none.

Hard working roofers endured difficult weather during the roof replacement.

The job as done to our complete satisfaction. The work also included redirecting dryer vents and included wind mitigation reports.

After the hurricane, Tim came with a drone and examined our roofing and found it unharmed from the storm.

We will definitely use Amherst for our next roofing project.

The roof repair (to fix a leak) by this company was the worst I have ever seen. I have pics to show the shoddy work. The repair was a cover up of roofing tar to hide the problem. They did not take it down to the wood to see the problem. The job was messy and unprofessional. I wrote 10 or more emails over five months and 3 visits to fix the leaks Nothing they did worked because of their incompetance. I had to rebid the job to get it corrected. Both bidders were astonished at what they saw. In an effort to get some settlement $$ they basically refused. What value a 1 year guarantee? I would walk away from this company. FAST

I had my Roof done by Amherst Roofing and they did a wonderful job. Courteous employees, helpful and cleaned up nicely afterwards. I've known alot of other people who have had their roof done by this company also thats how I found out about them and I have heard nothing but good things from all of them! I will recommend them in the future!
