Be sure to ask for ""life-long"" fasteners or screws. We were very happy with the price and the work. Six years later, the screws are rusting. After research, we learned that if the screws are not replaced, then the rust will spread to the roof. It seems a no brainer that a roofing company would know to install ""life-long"" material. I'm on the roof now replacing screws.

Ametco Metal Roofing was recommended to us by our neighbor who had his roof done by them several years ago and he was very happy with the service and his roof. Initially when we started getting estimates to replace our shingle roof with metal roof we had planned on going with just the basic standard (Key West) style roof due to cost and trying to keep it down but still have peace of mind that we have a solid roof system... Of course, with any projects people always recommended getting several estimates, which we did, and all came in close to pricing but Ametco stood out and we appreciated the straightforward and no pushy sales. We first met with Nick, and discussed the different types of roofing styles, color options and cost. Nick was very helpful and answered a lot of our questions at that time. After Nick had left my husband and I took a few days to review all the information, pricing and such; Also called Nick a couple of times with more questions, and he was very prompt and got back to us quickly. My husband and I were still kind of set on the standard metal roof due to keeping cost down, but after reading everything we could possibly find on the roof styles and reviewing cost we decided to go with the most expensive one Ametco offered due to this hopefully will be the last roof we have to do and the price difference between all of them really was not that big of a difference. Honestly, there are some things that you really can not put a price on when it comes to your life investment and safety. We are extremely happy that we went with Ametco Metal Roofing and love our new roof. The workers showed up on time, worked all day and cleaned the job site at the end of each day that they were here. I spoke with Mike with Ametco a few times who was also very prompt in response and met with Quinn a few times who was also very helpful and answered any questions that I had. Everyone that I have spoken with at Ametco has been very professional, quick with response and never let ball drop, that is very hard to find here in South Florida. I highly recommend Ametco Metal Roofing...

We had a spectacular experience with this company. They came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Our roof was particularly difficult because of a very steep pitch and some wood rot. AMETCO gave us a very reasonable quote, coordinated with our contractor, and were friendly and efficient. The new roof looks great, and more importantly our home is now leak free.
