I recently had quite a scare. my roof got a severe leak.Not knowing who to call I asked my best friend for a roofer.He recommended Amerus roofing and stated that it was veteran owned. I myself am a vet.I called and spoke to a very nice and professional guy about my roof and was told a person would come the next day to check it out.I was told that he would show around 2pm and he was surely prompt and was there on time.My roof recieved alot of water damage and the inside also.I went with Amerus and a crew was quickly scheduled to come.when they came they were very polite and professional the whole time.The work was done in a timely manner and the results are great.I was happy and thankful that I was given a senior and veteran discount.Thank you so much Bob and crew for your prompt and very professional job. well done.

No more leaky roof at my house... after 3 years & 3 different roofing contractors. Amerus Roofing & Restoration got to the bottom of the problem and stopped the leaks. I would highly recommend this company to anyone dealing with roof issues. I found Amerus Roofing Company to be both professional & knowledgeable with great customer service.

Amerus was contracted and paid over $8,000.00 to apply a foam roof. After the first rain, the water pooled into over 40 puddles and the roof leaked in more rooms than before. After he sent 3 different teams of unlicensed, unsupervised men who Mr. Underhill, owner, said were being trained, the roof still leaked and the 40 puddles remained causing the entire corner of my living room to collapse destroying furnishings and bringing in residue. Mr. Underhill failed to obtain a permit as required by law, has failed to apply the foam roof I paid for and to this date has yet to have the roof inspected as required by law. The only option now is to file formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the NM Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, The state licensing Department and a lawsuit in the Dona Ana County Courthouse. I do wonder how many other defective roofs Amerus has done without permits or inspections. I could never recommend Amerus to anyone! Mrs. BVF

Bob Underhill, the owner, came out when he said he would and looked at our roof to give us an appraisal of the damage done by a storm of golf ball size hail. He thoroughly explained what he found and backed up the appraisal by thorough video and photo footage of the roof. His very professional attitude convinced us to employ his company. His crew came out when he said they would, and they started work right away.
They were very polite, and respectful of our property and our animals.
They finished the job within the time frame that Bob had committed to,
and left our property clean and tidy. If we ever need a roofing contractor again, we would only use Amerus Roofing.

AMERUS roofing was awesome! The staff was great. They were punctual and ready to work every morning.The job was done in a timely manner. They were extremely knowledgeable in their line of work. The manager explained everything to us in detail. He was very honest and very helpful when it came to dealing with our insurance company. Amerius Roofing has no idea what customer service is, lacks knowledge in the insurance claim department, and is unable to complete jobs they agree to.
After an severe wind storm which occurred on March 7, 2017 left our roof in shambles, we were approached by this company and agreed to proceed with them. Three months later, all we have to show for this decision is useless updates, unanswered phone cals, and the same roof in shambles.
Their employees have no idea how to answer their phones and require contact hounding from their customers. Even after doing this, any answer received by their company was in the form of something they didn't know, had no idea about, or would get back to me, which they never did. After a few months, it became apparent to me that Amerius Roofing did not know a thing about customer service, but they had be doubting whether this company knew anything about roofing as well.
To date, no matter who I've spoken to, no matter how patient I have been, no matter how many times I request an update, no progress has been made and no correspondence has been had.
Please be aware when deciding to choose a company for your next unavoidable incident. Unless your dream was to become an unpaid babysitter for these multiple individuals, this company might not be your best choice.
