AmeriTex Roofing was recommended by our real estate agent just before our home sale, we had previous roof and gutter damage from hail. The whole process was very professionally done with Chance Tabor as our contact person who coordinated everything perfectly. Communication was excellent and timely. The work done was high quality and a quick process. Everything around our home was protected well in the process. We have moved out of the home now, but everything looked great after the work was done. Highly recommend.

Ameritex Roofing has consistently provided the highest level of customer service and quality of product installation to both myself personally as well as the many many friends and family over the years that I have referred to them. I have found this company to be not only extremely responsive but the follow through is impressive! They work primarily on referrals and aren't the ""storm chaser"" roofing companies that you find knocking on your door after a big storm. They are local and available when you need them! Do not hestitate to call Ameritex Roofing in McKinney, Texas!

My insurance agent recommended Ameritex, but that turned out to be bad advice. Initially I was happy, but then it rained and there were 2 leaks. Luckily, both leaks were over the patio so no water got in the house. I told them about both leaks, but one was worse, so we focused on that one first. Initially, they said was because they hadn't gotten the skylight covers in, but it still leaked after those were replaced. Then they said it was because the skylight hadn't been caulked properly. Then they said it was something else. Eventually they sent a guy out who said there was a piece of the decking that was not done right and they would have to tear off a whole bunch of shingles and fix it. I was pretty upset that this was not done during the initial install. They knew there was a problem, but they decided to just slap some shingles on it and cover it up. So, they came out and tore a bunch of shingles off and finally fixed the problem.

That took care of one leak, but not the other. So we turned our attention to fixing the other one. After several failed attempts at fixing it, they blamed it on the chimney. So, I hired a chimney guy who came out and said there was nothing wrong with the chimney. Then they said it was the chimney cap. The guy told me the chimney cap would be $800 and I agreed to pay it. Their guy came out and measured and made the cap and installed it. They weren't too happy, and wanted me to have it done somewhere else, but that would just start the finger pointing. So, I insisted that they fix it. After the new one was installed, I had the guy who said that would fix the problem come out (he had been right about how to fix the other leak) and inspected it to make sure it was done to his satisfaction. He said it was great and the leak was surely fixed. Of course, the new chimney cap made no difference and it leaked as bad as ever. Eventually, they did a sealing treatment that did fix the problem. Getting a roof that actually worked with no leaks took 2 years in total. Then they sent me a bill for the chimney cap. Instead of the $800 I was quoted, the bill was for $1400. I hope they enjoy the money. It's the last cent of mine they will ever get.

Suggested my Dad get his roofing completed after storm by Ameritex. Robert came out and inspected the roof and made the whole process seamless.

I would NOT hesitate to suggest Ameritex to any of my family or friends as a great North Texas Roofing Contractor. They were very competitive and even beat out some other contractors without negotiation. I was able to have them add ""SOLAR HIDE"" to my roof to give me a radiant barrier for very little added onto the cost! Yes! Ask for ""Solar Hide""!!!!!

My Dad's and my roof looks better than the rest of my neighbors because they used ALL the correct shingles. I have the ""Z Strip"" on my ridges. It makes a difference! The rest use the lower quality regular shingle that doesn't offer the full protection. I have a true, ""30 year lifetime"" roof!

Bottom line is that it was done RIGHT!I I can truly tell you that Robert and the Ameritex Crew are one of the best in North Texas! They don't cut corners, and they treat you like family!

I used them twice! What more can I say than that as a recommendation!

I bought a house in Southlake TX on Feb. 2016 and understood that the missing & damaged shingles were replaced by Ameritex Roofing. Early this year, when I found my home insurance premium was significantly increased, I asked Farmers Insurance the reason for the big jump and was told that my roof was about 10 years old. In addition, there were a lot of claims in my area due to the tornado damage last year and we can also make a claim if there was any roof damage. I was surprised since the previous owner told me that the rood is quite new and I can it is relatively newer compared with my neighbors'. I called Bill, the owner of Ameritex and talked about the issue. Bill came over the next day, double checked the roof and confirmed me there is no damage of the roof and also was kind enough issued a letter to Farmers confirming the age of the roof was replaced in 2011. With his letter, Farmers agreed to adjust my home insurance premium. Bill was very nice, professional and also guided me something that I need to pay attention in the future since the weather in Northern Texas is very different from Southern California. Bill truly showed me the real Texan and I will highly recommend his service.
