We had storm damage and needed a roof replacement. Was dreading going through the process of finding someone etc., but with a recommendation from a friend we contacted Ameristar. I don't usually write reviews but was so impressed felt I needed to. They arrived on time at eight on the dot, tore off the roof, replaced it, picked up and cleaned everywhere and by five were packed up and gone. We had several problem areas and they did an excellent job. The owner John Yates is knowledgeable and very professional. Run! Turn around! Don't do it!!!! Absolutely the worst home contracting experience I've ever had. Workers left food containers, water bottles and soda cans for 3 days all over my yard not to mention the roof debris- and the wind blew a lot of it in our pool. Workers stayed at my home until 9pm working in the dark - seriously? Keeping myself and my children from getting any rest. The owner didn't really seem to see what the big deal was so when it came time to roof our second home we chose a more professional contractor who was able to keep a tidy environment and get the job done in just over one day. I can't stress enough how unprofessional this contractor is. Keep looking.
