America's Choice replaced my roof and gutters in December 2021. They also did a complete rebuild of my chimney since it was not done properly when the house was constructed in 1997. I have had heavy rains and high winds since then and have had absolutely no issues.

Hannah was a pleasure to work with and very professional as well as the roofing crew and gutter crew. They did an excellent clean up job as I found less than six nails in the planter or on the back porch over several weeks after completion of the job.

We had our roof and awning replaced. They exceeded our expectations. They worked closely with our insurance and were very knowledgeable -maximizing our coverage. They cleaned up nails, left our landscaping in great shape. The workers were polite and professional. We strongly recommended them to neighbors and colleagues at work.

I highly recommend America's Choice Roofing! There is a reason that you will find great reviews for them across multiple sites such as: Google, Yelp, and NextDoor (Austin's Colony). I love doing business with local companies, and this is a family owned business that has earned its reputation by providing good workmanship, friendly customer service, and dedicated follow-through.

After the hailstorm a month or so ago, I joined the crowd of people trying to get damaged roofs replaced. Hannah was my contact person and she helped me negotiate the world of insurance and roofing from beginning to end. She was always available and responsive to texting. She made many visits to my home to follow up on various details, which is all the more impressive at a time when it seems that everyone in B/CS had hail damage to their roofs. Hannah's knowledge is extensive, and there was no job she wouldn't tackle: climbing all over my roof, checking the stifling hot attic in 100-degree heat, and wearing a face mask during the pandemic. I am incredibly grateful for her taking the lead in negotiating with my insurance company and providing the proof to convince them that my gutters & downspouts were also damaged and should be replaced. She didn't hesitate to return a second time to take more pictures at their request.

The day scheduled to replace the roof went so smoothly and quickly it was unbelievable! I returned from an early morning walk to find two trucks already parked on the street at 6:30am. There was a big and clearly very experienced crew who were finished by 11:00am. They did a thorough job of clean-up, including checking for dropped nails and hauling off an old satellite dish they removed, as well as all other trash. Hannah followed up with another nail check and thorough inspection of the entire roof and attic (solar vents were installed). She is in the process of following up with the order of new gutters and downspouts to be installed by a specialized crew. I have no doubt that this job will also be well done.
America's Choice Roofing really embodies what I love about local family owned businesses: reliability, efficiency, reasonable costs, and personalized service! Even though they must be super stressed trying to meet the needs after the big hailstorm, they delivered great service. I am so proud and delighted with my beautiful new roof and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!!!

I used them a few years ago. The job was several thousand dollars. They installed a scupper too low and I told the guy installing it that I wouldn't accept it that way. He installed it anyway. When I talked to the owner about it later, he refused to correct it so I refused to paid the balance until we got it resolved. He had his lawyer write me one of those nasty letters. I worked out a settlement with the Lawyer and gave them a check. They reneged on their end of the bargain. Still irritates me to this day. I found out later from other contractors in town that the owner is unscrupulous and one guy called him a crook.

I would definitely not recommend Americas Choice Roofing for multiple reasons. Around September of 2017 I paid them $2,884.00 to fix a few leaks in my roof and repaint some water damages areas. We had two fairly large leaks in our dining room on the first floor (2 floor home) and in our garage. After they repaired, it was a while before it rained very hard.

A few months later I started to see some small wet spots, but not very much. Over the last few months it has been raining a bit more and the spots they repaired looked almost as bad as when they first repaired them. I called Hannah and she came to our home and informed us that they did do a lot of repair work, but what they fixed was apparently not the issue and I had the choice to pay them to come back and fix it or get another company. Then she offered for me to speak to the general manager, Mike, who came to my home with and offered to fix the issues, but would need to charge me. I explained to them that they did not fix the repairs I paid for, but the conversation just kept on going in circles. Finally I spoke with Gary, the owner, who informed me that they do their best to make the repairs, but, it was a ""crap shoot"" to actually fix the problem and that if I wanted the repairs I would have to pay for them to come back or get another company to fix it. I have had two separate companies come out and look at the damaged areas and it looks like I am going to have to pay another $1,500.00 for repairs.

We used America's Choice Roofing after the hail storm we had here recently in B/CS. The salesman we had was amazing and walked us through the process and how everything would be handled.

The problem is, everything he told us and how he described the clean-up process & daily work is not at all how it happened.

The roofing crew showed up early one morning, before the dumpster, and just started throwing shingles, nails & tar paper all over my yard and flowerbeds. They were supposed to put up plywood to slide the trash down and protect my flower beds, that didn't happen until we called & started complaining. There was a point in time, for a day, that we couldn't get out our back door because there was a pile of trash (shingles, nails, etc.) about 1 tall and 1-2 feet wide.

We were told that they would have 1-2 individuals on the ground every day cleaning up and running the magnet. That never happened. Our home looked like we lived in dump ... the roof trash was everywhere, PLUS the trash the roofers threw all over our yard and into our neighbor's yard. Most of the time the individual, who I assume was supposed to be cleaning, was laying in the yard or swinging on our swing. (Side note: we even saw one of the workers pee on our neighbor's house - not in a shrub in the backyard somewhere, but just in the open. This should give you a clear idea of what we were dealing with)

The last day of the job was when the dumpster actually showed up and the trash started getting cleaned up (you should see the pictures of my yard & front porch). The last day was also the first time we saw the magnet out and after continuing to complain to our salesman, he actually came out and ran the magnet again and had a PILE of nails that were not picked up. However to this day, we are still cleaning up nails. We did get a small reimbursement from them for the plants they killed/pulled up when they did decide to clean and the sprinkler heads they broke. Should we really have had to do this?? We were told that this crew was new to the company and that they would be fired after completing our job; since being hired on with America's Choice they had been sent out on a few jobs and several of them also submitted multiple complaints. So why even send them out to us? I would have rather waited another few weeks for a new roof than to have had this experience.

My newest issue is that with this last heavy rain, we discovered our gutters are not working in 2-3 spots. In one area there is clearly a bowed spot - is this from someone stepping on it or a ladder being put in the wrong spot or just throwing loads of trash down? We've reached back out to America's Choice and they did come out to look at it, but are already saying that there is no proof that it was from them; but they'll send ""their"" gutter guy out. All I can say is my gutters worked before you got on my roof.

I am VERY frustrated and angry with this company. I feel they were clearly aware of the issues we were having daily and did nothing to rectify it or stop the issues in their tracts. I really thought that a company of this size, with the reputation they have, we would have had a great experience, and that is just not how it went down. I would never use them again and I would never recommend them to anyone I know.

We didn't have our roof replaced by America's Choice Roofing but our neighbor did. She says she won't be recommending them! We live outside Calvert, TX in the country and our driveway is not set up for 18 wheelers but one of the trucks hauling the shingles came down our drive and had to jack-knife a few times to get to our house, the first time one has been down our drive in almost 15 years. He was told the delivery location would be on his right, we are on the left, they can't even follow directions. After driving over our septic system and knocking down a few tree limbs, he was headed out where he had a harder time leaving. He ran off the end of the culvert and his trailer hit our main post that holds our over head sign, damaging it. The driver gets out of his truck and takes pictures then drives off. After talking to people at the roofing company and the trucking company in which they were very rude, they said they would not do anything about it. You can bet I won't be recommending them to anyone.

Think long and hard before you sign off with this company or risk wondering why it happened to you. America's Choice Roofing did not fulfill its moral obligation in notifying us of a damaged chimney but instead they replaced our roof with beautiful shingles this past July. Had the rain from Harvey not come we would have never known. Now we have water stains on our ceiling as the result. Mike was negligent in not notifying us, he was the expert who went on top of our roof and he did not provide due caution. Now Mike refuses to take ownership and does not feel the least bit responsible in this matter. Over a week ago Mike told my husband that they had been paid for the roof and not the chimney. Then this week Mike attempted to tell me we spoke of the chimney having issues before the job. Well Mike Hubbard got paid and has moved on. He seems to just make excuses in justifying his actions. It is very disappointing when you know people who actual know Mike Hubbard. If America's Choice Roofing continues in not fulfilling its moral obligation, they will NOT be America's Choice.

Everything about working with America's Choice Roofing was great. Quick estimate, friendly people, and a hard-working crew. It started raining an hour after they finished, and it rained hard for 3 days. Nary a leak was to be found! I totally recommend!

Thank you so much for our new roof after the hail storm we endured in January. We are so pleased and proud of the product, the crew and their professionalism, working with Frances and Jenna in the office, and building an exceptional working relationship with Mike Hubbard. We observed several roof repairs by America's Choice in our neighborhood the last 2 months and knew immediately that we wanted the same quality and care for our home. Ray Ray and the guys were amazing working with me and our 4 dogs and scheduling their breaks. So happy with the clean up and more importantly, the beautiful new roof. Thanks to everyone.
