I had a short phone conversation with Mark and I told him that I am general contractor from OC and I am looking for roofers in the area for a friend. Obviously he was not very impressed about talking to GC and told me they do not work for GC's and tried to offer me number for some friend in OC. I tried to explain him that I do not need roofer in OC but he jumped into the conversation and told me they had 1000 calls in last 2 weeks and the owner should call back the number on my caller ID. When I told him the owner is not in the condition to call back that is the reason why it is me calling his answer was that this is not his problem. I couldn't believe what I just heard so I told him 'just forget it' to hear back from him arrogant 'ok I will forget it'. Reading the others reviews now I am very glad we didn't have anything to do with these guys.

I am not very patient, so I only gave these people one chance. It turns out they are VERY busy, because most South Bay roofing contractors want to do the whole roof, and American Roofmasters ONLY does roof repair. So, almost all the roofing contractors refer repair inquiries to American Roofmasters.

I called and left a message, I, like a previous review, got a call in the late evening from a very nice and professional lady. She said they would do a great job, and because I lived so close to the office, I would probably get a call very soon. Weeks went by - no call. I am now probably going to just put a whole new roof on. At least I can find a few roofers who will actually call me back, come out and evaluate, and bid for the whole roof.

This is a VERY busy time of year, and with the heavy recent rains I'm sure all roofers are busy. I'm just disappointed. I'll try to get a repair or replace evaluation from a couple of others, but based on my experience so far I'm probably going to just go with a new roof from a very reputable local company that actually knows what the term CUSTOMER SERVICE means!

The supervisor who came to the jobsite was very professional and all repairs were done to a high standard. In my opinion, the salesperson grossly overcharged ($850 for a 3 man hour job) and they were VERY aggressive about payment.

I had some work done on my roof last week Thursday and Friday by Jose and Ruben and they were professional and did a great job in giving my roof a tune up and repairing a section of my carport that had wood rot due to a leak over the years that spread. Mark the owner gave me a reasonable price that I could handle. I highly recommend supporting our local businesses and using this company that is really there for you. Great company.

Like all roofing businesses in this El Nino year American Roof Masters is overwhelmed with potential business. Keeping that in mind they still provided very good customer service and, most importantly, performed a thorough inspection, provided a very detailed report and estimate, and completed the work as promised. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

American Roofmasters made it happen for me on short notice! I needed a roof inspection to pass city inspection in preparation to complete the sell of my home. Time was of the essence, as I am closing escrow in just a few days. They came out the same day and presented me with a complete inspection report along with photos. It was too funny they even bagged and tagged a special souvenir for me they found in the roof. I compared pricing with 2 other contractors, and American Roofmasters had the best price. Called and left a message asking for roof repair service. Just when I thought I wouldn't hear from them, a friendly lady called me at 7:30 on a Friday night two days later. She promised that someone would follow up the next week. Nobody did. I left three more messages over the next three weeks. No response. Seven weeks after speaking with the friendly lady, I finally received a call from a man at 8:30 on a Friday night who repeatedly lied, saying that he had spoken to me, then changed it to that he had left messages. He blamed their lack of responsiveness on the fact that ""they don't get up to [LAX area] much"" - not a valid excuse for not returning calls, and then lying about it. When he offered service for the next day, I told him that I wouldn't do business with his company.

Perhaps the actual repair services are decent. Perhaps they do good work. I didn't get past the terrible customer service at the start of the process.

Non-responsive. My husband and I had an experience with this company that was very similar to others who indicated that they do not follow-up. They came to my house about a month ago to assess needed repairs. We still have not received their estimate and they have not responded to our multiple attempts to reach them directly and by their voicemail. Really too bad! They were very thorough and diligent during their initial visit....
