American Roofing roofed my elderly brother-in-laws roof in trion, ga. They completed the job and assured my brothers-in-law that it was inspected by a supervisor and it met their standards. I went and did my own inspection and this is what I found. Did not use the starter row that was agreed upon in the contract, broken shingles, misaligned ridge shingles, underlayment not covering plywood, shingles laid uneven and bad wood covered up. I complain and I was insulted and lied to. After arguing with Justin and William benefield I managed to get them to replace the bad decking they should have never covered up. In the process they knocked a hole in the ceiling and destroyed a painting that was on the wall. William benefield refused to pay for the damage they caused and threatened to put a lien on the house. This home belongs to an elderly person and this threat is a tool to intimidate. Buyer beware of this company. Goggle William benefield and you will see.
