I'm not sure if they deserve even one star. It should be a minus five. I had the worst experience with this company when I contracted with them to install eight windows. They took down the existing blinds in the interior of the house. They threw them on the floor and left them there. I had to call them to come back and Install them and buy new blinds since they broke the existing blinds. They did not complete work as stated in the contract. They will not answer their phone and I have written several letters with know response. Do not hire this company!!!!

American Roofing has done work on my parents roof in SF, my roof in SF and my cousins roof in Oakland! Mr. Armas was very professional and reasonable! He also did my brother home In Vacaville! Good job!

Totally unprofessional. Messy, sloppy, substandard solutions and not responding to call for issues t be properly fixed. Scheduling times and day and wasting our time as they never showed up for at list tree times.
One newly installed gutter fell off at the first wind. Good think nobody was there as the edges were really sharp. It was glued (!) to the roof.
They never came to fix it and we had to do it ourself.
I wish we had read the two one star reviews before hiring them. We had the exact same bad experience. I just hope the roof will not leak on the next storm because I lost totally trust on them and I 'm afraid the will take responsibility on their work. I hope you read this review before hiring them as nobody deserve to be treated so poorly and disrespectfully.

the office lady Theresa will lie to you saying you have an appointment but no one will show up when suppose to come. it took them over a month to do a basic roof. they are very careless. they must have caller id cause they stop answering your calls. theresa does not call you back. if she calls, she will tell you that Panfillo had to go take care of an emergency. mine is an emergency! you left things undone! this company deserves hundreds of negative stars.

Watch out for American Roofing Company of San Francisco! About a year ago they worked on a building here in Albany, on Kains. They were careless with roofing nails and screws, many landing in the parking area of the street. Many of us on Kains complained to the workers, but they just didn't seem to care. No one would tell us who the company or contractor was.
Recently the scaffold was removed. That day I found at least two dozen roofing nails all over the parking area, some right under tires! I complained to the city.
It would only take a 10 minute cleanup to avoid unnecessary tire damage.

Peter came recommended from a friend. We had a leak in the roof and with more rain in the forecast, I wanted to get it fixed ASAP.

Peter was prompt in responding and with in day scheduled an appointment for quote and actually got it fixed on the same visit. Prices are fair. We are satisfied with the work and specially by the responsiveness.
