We requested a bid from American Property Restoration to abate about 400 square feet of asbestos tiles and mastic in our basement. They missed the original time/date to come and do the bid (without contacting us to let us know) and called the next day to reschedule. They came the next day to do the bid, and sent me the bid via email for $7,000. A day earlier I had a bid from another company Abatement Contractors Unlimited for $2000 to do the same work, and they also said they would pull up another 50 square feet of non-asbestos tile for us in our downstairs laundry room.

We just had ACU do the work for us and they were VERY professional and did an awesome job. Still very puzzled why APR would bid $7000 for the same work. If you're looking for asbestos abatement, recommend contacting another company because APR is a total waste of time and a ripoff.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. We did not have a project manager too walk us through anything so we ended up spending more out of pocket over contract price. Communication was awful, we never knew when workers were coming. We had someone show up at 7:11am or after 5 at night. We had workers break pipes and not tell us. One worker broke a pipe and just left a bucket to collect the water and left. We had workers come to install our new shower and we had to stop them because they were doing it wrong and they told us they did not have time to do it right because they had to get to another job and left. There were many things that were paid for in the contract that never happened. At the end they took money off the price rather than finish the job. Please think twice before you use this company.

Walked into a broken water line in our breakroom on a monday morning. Called them early, and by 7:30 a team led by Abdul was on site. they were great - got the place dried out, removed wet wallboard and baseboards, put filing cabinets up on foam blocks. They left lots of fans and 2 giant dehumidifiers to complete the drying process. The cleanup, explanations, and service for the water removal was excellent.

only downside- i'm still waiting on their quote to repair the physical damage - been well over a week

These folks were great. I had a horrible experience with a sewage claim. They made this situation manageable. Every person I dealt with at the company was polite and professional. They made what was definitely an awful situation manageable. I had a similar claim years ago with a company my insurance company recommended and yuck. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT AND FAST!
