During that time, we evolved into a company focused on storm damage, working with insurance providers and homeowners to manage the significant repairs required from inclement weather.
My grandparents came to the United States from Germany in 1955, bringing along two children and thirty dollars.
My grandfather earned an additional thirty dollars on the ship that brought them to this new land, uncertain of what awaited them.
Within two weeks of their arrival, he began working for a steel company and stayed there for three decades.
When I was six, they bought land to build a home, and that’s where he introduced me to construction as a child.
