UPDATE!!!!!!!!From Boca Raton
The owner, Rafael Paiva has dissolved his company American One Roofing. He did not respond to our demand letter and the lawsuit that we filed against him was also never responded to. The company was dissolved on September 23, 2023, six days prior to the requirement to respond to my lawsuit. He has stolen several clients money after dissolving his business. No doubt he will try and open another roof company under a different LLC because that's what these criminals do. Make sure you research the company you hire and if Rafael Paiva is involved at all, STAY AWAY.

A warning to all about this company American One Roofing out of West Palm Beach. If I could give this company less than a one star rating I would. The owner took a 50% deposit from me of $35k in October of 2022 for a full metal roof replacement and told me it would be 4-6 weeks for my new roof to be installed. From there I received little to no communication whatsoever. I reached out more times than I can count via phone, text message and email and I would maybe receive back some BS response via text message that would say ""I'll call you back"" or ""I'm on a roof give me a few"". I was able to get two scheduled calls with the owner both for 11am and when I called, the phone would go straight to voicemail or I got no answer at all. In the course of my trying to find out what is going on, I found out that the material for my roof was never even ordered in February of 2023. Five months AFTER I gave my 50% deposit. I tried and tried and tried some more to get this resolved amicably and I was extremely patient through the process. I finally requested a full refund in May 2023 and the owner responded that I would have a full refund in two weeks. I never received a refund to date. A demand letter for my deposit was sent with a request for a response within a limited timeframe and that demand letter went unanswered. I lost a home sale due to the age of my roof and my insurance went to $14k per year from $7500. I have never in over 25 years of doing business have encountered such BS and I have never been lied to so much by one company and one person. I would VERY STRONGLY recommend you NEVER use American One Roofing company for anything EVER!!!

AnericanOne Roofing is a tremendous company led by Mr. Rafael Paiva who is an owner with impeccable standards and ethics. Rafael and his team was able to witness our home and detached garage using a special computer program that measured our two buildings in order to precisely quantify the exact volume of materials his teams would need in order to give us an exact cost estimate that we simply could not turn down. AmericanOne has teams that specialize in old material removal, replacement of damaged wood and installation of underlayment, a third team that does the installation of new roofing materials, and final QC team that repaints facia and any walls that become smudged. Each team has cleaners that work alongside the four teams to assure that all nails that fall to the ground are cleaned up as well as old roof materials. They remove the old debris every day at the end of their work. Rafael does an outstanding job getting permits from the county, setting the county inspector's schedule, and assigning a county specialist that completes the wind mitigation report. The result was a masterful roofing job that is absolutely gorgeous and will last through the toughest of Florida's storms. Rafael delivered upon every promise that he made to us. We are 100% pleased with the work and the workers that were on our property. They were all polite and earned our respect.

We had an appointment at 11:30. The gentleman showed up at 12:15. The building has signs that says masks are required. He gets off the elevator without at mask and I said ""Where is your mask?"" He said ""I don't have one."" I told him he wasn't coming into my apartment. He turned and said ""Goodbye."" Certainly not the attitude and service I would expect.
