Hero Construction replaced our roof with no problems but butchered the solar pool heater. They said they would order materials to rebuild it, but a month later I still don't have a pool heater. When I call they say a manager will get back to me with status but they never do. Will never use them again.

Save your time. This company will do whatever it takes for you to sign a contract and than completely forget about you. Sadly enough I have worked here and have known the owner for years. Do a lot of research on this company and seriously reconsider your decision.

I do not recommend this company at all. Save you time n money. I had 3 different agents. They don't communicate or read the contract instructions. The roofers did a good job but it took them almost 4 months to start n delt with them for a year.

Almost a year ago, we signed a contract with American Hero Roofing to replace our roof. They seemed very professional when they came out to inspect the roof, and they worked with our insurance co so we didn't havre to deal with that. So far so good. I had looked them up online and they seemed like a reputable business. I was especially impressed that they were owned by veterans and the workers were, also. My husband and son are both veterans so I really wanted to use them. Move ahead several months to April when we still haven't heard from them at all. We had to keep calling them to get them to come to our house. I don't remember if it was late April or May before they finally came out to do the work. The shingles finally arrived and were placed on the roof. A week or so later the work crew arrived, on time, but then proceeded to move the shingle stacks around the roof. I was very unhappy with the way they handled this. They would pick up a stack and carry to where it was needed, then they slammed them on the roof. They did this with every stack. I know they are heavy, but you don't slam these things on the roof. Every stack was slammed down hard on the roof. As a result, most pictures on my walls went way off center, a couple actually fell down. The entire house shook with each dropping, and the power went out in my office. That room had to be rewired. It rained not long after they were finished, and my hub noticed a few leaks that we didn't have before. They did come out and fix those. Then it was time for the county inspector to come out to look at the roof, and it failed its first inspection. They came out several days later to take care if that problem. This time, though, they dumped several big blobs of tar over the side of our house, and my 4 dogs ran through it and came in the house with tar on their feet. Our floors are only a year old so I was very unhappy about that. It took a lot of work to clean the dogs' feet and the floors. This time, when they were finished, they did not call the inspector to come back and re-inspect the roof, so the permit remained taped to our garage door until November. Of course by this time the permit had run out, so they had to get a new one. It failed again, but this time it was because they couldn't take the time to fill it out properly. So back to the drawing board and this time it finally passed. Then we didn't hear anything more from them until Julio started calling about getting the remainder of the deductible. That even took a long time to accomplish.

Much as I hate to do this, I cannot recommend American Hero Construction until they can get their act together without causing damage. And also learn to do things on time. Communication with these people really sucks. I would not use them again.

Can I say - This company should be named American Fraud! They do half the work and demand full payment. Took the 1 1/2 years to complete the work they were contracted to do. Had we paid them in advance, it would've never been done. They tried to claim the additional work wasn't included in the contract but low and behold after we threatened to sue they show up and complete the work but didn't charge extra. So I guess they did the work from the goodness of their hearts. Or maybe they are crooks and con-artist who take advantage of seniors and veterans like my Father! Please please find another company! Save yourself the trouble.

Wish there was an option for zero stars. This company is horrible. Very unprofessional and took them more than a year to complete a job.

While they did a reasonably good job on the roof they are persistently and blatantly trying to rip me off for the additional work of the pool re-screen. They insurance work plainly states the sq footage paid for and they have not and likely will not do any more than half that. They have happily pocketed profits from that fraud. Use someone else.

Hi. I am very very upset right now. We had a new roof put on by you guys nearly a year ago. Today we had our dryer ducts cleaned because our dryer has been overheating and burning. The dryer is only two years old and the belt has gone from being overworked, the coils have overheated. The dryer vent repair men said that when the new roof was put on you did not extend the dryer vent causing zero air flow. Our home could have burned down. He advised I should call the fire marshal while they are here (they are still here) because this is a very serious violation. They have temporarily vented it into the attic space but you have to come out and re-vent it. We also expect to be reimbursed for the extra money it cost us above and beyond the standard dryer vent cleaning as well as the cost of the heating coil and belt. I am very upset with American Hero Construction

American Hero is doing my house today - I have Heard so many horror stories of roofing companies that I was cautious to say the least. I had asked a neighbor who had some construction background to keep an eye on my roof as the process took place. American hero showed up at my house at 7:03 this morning exactly on time and on the exact day that we had agreed on -Dennis was my on-site lead inspector - and I could not have felt better, after talking to him and him telling me about the process and everything that was going to happen, and then when he found more damage he took all of the fears away and talked to my insurance and . My neighbor even Admitted he was hard to impress, but was very impressed - I wish everyone who is in need of a roof could come to my house today just to see the quality of the work and the quality of the employees and the professionalism that is happening at my house right now -this is the only time I have ever left a review on yelp but I could not wait another day just in case somebody was contemplating a new roof ! I am a single lady and now I am even patting myself on my back just for choosing to go with this company!

We suffered hail damage and called American Hero construction to help us with replacing our roof. From filing the insurance claim all the way to having our new roof installed, American Hero Construction was the best! Joe Branch was our project manager. He, along with John Mann helped explain the process and stayed on top of the job. They communicated so well. Our new roof looks amazing. I would recommend Joe and American Hero Construction to anyone who asks!
