American Array was the second lowest bidder to my solar system. I decided to go with it after a phone call with Carolina from America Array. She was the best; was very responsive, answered my questions, and had sense of urgency since it was pretty close to NEM2.0 deadline. She also price matched with the lowest quote. Adam and his project team were also super; answered our questions and concern, resolved issue during design and installation, and made sure we meet NEM2.0. They also came back and replaced broken roof tiles after installation and follow up with me. I'm satisfied with their service overall.

I hired American Array Solar for a solar installation at my house in Oakland . It was a great experience.

I had already obtained PGE approval and a permit, and American Array Solar dropped in and quickly completed the installation with high-quality workmanship. The panels were flawlessly installed, seamlessly integrating with my home. Their pricing was impressively affordable, providing excellent value without compromising quality.

I also want to highlight their excellent collaboration with the city building inspector. They followed plans diligently, resulting in a smooth process and the inspection was very quick and easy to finalize the building permit.

For installation, highly recommended. I did not use their permitting/design services so I don't have any feedback there.

The process of installing solar panels is more complicated than it sounds. You have to deal with the installer, city permits and PG&E. One can easily get bogged down in the bureaucratic maze that prolongs the completion. The biggest hurdle was PG&E. After numerous phone calls I finally realized there was nothing I could do in regards to their approval. On other hand American Array did a good job of keeping me informed regarding the process and seeing that things came to fruition on their part. After some confusion and talking to at least seven different people I was finally able to have Gina take charge. Her positive can do attitude and her willingness to listen to my frustration made the process easier. I also want to mention Jose for his professional and prompt response as head of the installation crew. In conclusion American Array had everything completed within a reasonable time line.

This company came to my mind as my friend Veena worked there, so took up a quote based on her recommendation. The American array did a good job in making the quick, easy and seamless, just when Tesla's quote came in way higher after being told I need to patch my roof with a diff type of tiles which was ridiculous. I'm glad I went with American Array. My neighbor also used them after my experience with them. So give them a try. They are local to Livemore.

I have installed the Solar System from American Array Solar in Feb 2023 certified for NEM 2.0. The service had been amazing right from the initial discussion, site visit and quick roof check to help assess the conditions, then completing the documentation for NEM2.0 compatibility. They had also provided the very good financing options with lucrative interest rates fitting my budget. The installation team went above and beyond and also ensured to finish the installation within the deadlines along with the CITY survey and needed documentation considering the server winter weather in early 2023. Sales and technical executive Veena Sandeep, and Gina were amazing with their help providing accurate and timely documentation and tech-help as needed. I rate them 5 star solar providers. I had solar installation done by American Array Solar. I am extremely satisfied and happy with the outcome. Adam at American Solar is extremely professional. I had a personal emergency and Adam worked around the schedule to put in all the plans together. Before that Saeed from the company came over and did a detailed study and explained everything to me. They were very mindful of the timeline, since I wanted to avail of NEM2.0. On the day of installation I had to cancel and reschedule. Sam worked around and immediately rescheduled to the day I wanted. After the installation, they came and again explained everything and were present for city inspection. During the entire process, Adam and his team kept me informed and completed all the work without me having to keep pushing them. Adam, Saeed, Sam and their entire team are very professional and I am glad I chose American Array Solar.

I recently got a solar system and battery installed.

I spoke to many companies and got three quotes. American Array was the least expensive.

The installation went great. The installation team was very friendly, respectful of my home, they answered all my annoying questions and did a great job with the install. I have a flat TPO roof, apparently that is easy to mess up. It has rained multiple times since then and there have been no leaks.

My only complaint would be that the company's communication could be a bit better, I had to email them to get information on next steps during the process, but it wasn't bad enough to knock them down a whole star.

They gave me good quotes but then, just after I asked for the contract, they ghosted me. The sales guy stopped responding to emails, phone calls, so I called the company, they said they would poke the sales guy, but nothing happened. Feels like some sort of tactic to push against the deadline. Don't fall for it.
