What separates Mike from other contractors is how he will take care of you even after the transaction!!

I was looking to get my garage converted into a rental ADU unit. I met with 3 different contractors who all provided with competitive quotes. The next contractor was Mike and we connected right away. Mike showed up and did a comprehensive assessment and provided us with a quote. From the research and review of positive customer testimonies, I decided to go with Mike.

Mike's workers were very professional and courteous. They showed up on time everyday and kept us updated on all their work tasks. The construction went smoothly and the workers were very accommodating on the requests we made. The project turned out great and we have been getting a lot of compliments.

What I really appreciate about Mike is that he has been very responsive in dealing with minor issue after the job was completed. Some if the issues presented themselves after construction was done. The issue were minor and Mike solved the issues right away. This is very important because some issue cannot be avoided during the construction. There is no way that a contractor can avoid all of them during the process. What is more important is that Mike has been there to solve the issues for us after the fact. Thank you for a great job and being there for us even after.!

I have called him twice to come to my house to give me an estimate for the job that I required, first time they asked me for details over text message which I have provided I never heard from them and when I called a couple of days later, they were extremely rude over the phone and they told me I need to give details about the job because if it's too small of a job they just cannot be bothered..... i'm sorry I'm not asking for freebies to be treated this way. After the way they spoke with me over the phone no person in their right mind will start any type of business with this company. Extremely rude untrustworthy and unreliable. Do not waste your hard earned money with this company.

Mike came out to inspect an issue with my bathroom. I think my toilet busted and caused some damage in my subflooring. He addressed the issue but we couldn't match the tile, so I ended up buying new tile, which he gladly installed for me. Him and his crew were very professional, and I would definitely hire them again.

We used America Green Builders to remodel a bathroom which hadn't been upgraded in more than 30 years. The result is a beautiful modern-looking bathroom. They were professional and easy to work with. They did a great job and we feel that we got excellent value. Would definitely recommend them!

We were looking for a company to do a very simple outdoor painting project and Mike got right back to me. He came over and gave us a fair estimate right away and was even able to start the project the next day. He listened to what I needed done and gave an estimate for the work we needed, he didn't try to sell us on more work that would have extended the length of the project, and the cost. I would definitely hire mike and his team again for projects in the future.

Hi folks. This is my first review ever. I felt I really had to do it for Mike and his America Green Builders team. We hired them a couple of months ago for window replacements. We needed to get all of the windows and sliding doors done. He was very nice, friendly, and accommodating. He was able to get us a great price, and that helped us afford a bit more work that really needed to get done (our chimney was falling apart and some roof tiles needed replacing). He and his people were very professional and the work turned out great! Mike was very attentive to our concerns, and he was always reachable, even if for whatever reason work had to be rescheduled (weather, etc). I was very impressed with how nice he was, throughout the entire process.

Now our roof looks great, our chimney is Santa-ready, and we are enjoying some peace and quiet with our new windows. We live in a very windy area and now we don't hear any wind howling, even if it looks crazy windy outside. Aaaand, the temperature stays really constant inside thanks to the windows so our heater/ac rarely even turns on!

If you are wondering why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, it's only because there were some rescheduling issues. Again, I never felt abandoned, and it's probably very normal when getting work done at your home, but I've heard many horror stories about contractors, and I'm happy to say we lucked out with Mike and America Home Builders. I'm happy to recommend them!
