Amazing experience start to finish. I did my research for over a year and decided to go with Ameco. Customer service is important to me, call me old-fashioned, and I appreciated the fact that they slow-wlked me through the process. This was not your high-pressure, knock on the door, lease my system kind of sale. Like any project, there were delays but zero surprises but every aspect was discussed in advance and we worked the plan together. I felt like I had actual control in the system being installed on my house. Emili and her team provided outstanding support, even with the permitting process and waiting around for plans to be reviewed. Installation was a breeze, even on the 100 degree day, sorry guys. Once installation was complete, Tigran walked me through the app and professionally tolerated me geeking out while answering all my questions. Excellent service Ameco. Job well done!

This is a review of Tigran. The builder of my home used AMECO and Tigran helped me obtain ownership of the solar panels when I purchased. He did a excellent job. I appreciated that he thought outside the box to solve the situation instead of providing the standard answer of ""No"". Thank you Tigran!

AMECO did our solar installation in 2011. They came out in a timely manner and pulled the permits, installed the system, and then energized it pretty quickly. Excellent job, and we also have not had a roof leak since installation. Recently, my power bill shot up, so I made a call they still had me in their system. They came out the next day to check the system, which was still working great. The problem was that my adult child likes to run the ac units at 68. Once I found out the next two days, the panels generated more electricity than used. Imagine that. I have nothing but good things about them. They are not the cheapest solution, but for the fact they will do a great job and are still in business and back up their product. If I get another property they will be the solar company that I will use. There was a small fee to check everything out but after 23 years no problem with that.

Very responsive and address any outstanding issues. We had a problem that we had to add a transformer after all the payments have been made and they were able to get it all set up anyways.

I had Ameco install my rooftop solar last year and I've had zero problems---until today, when after I had some work done on the HVAC system an issue came up with the Wi-Fi and micro inverters not syncing. I called the office and right away I was able to talk to a technician. We went through over the phone using FaceTime. So now everything is working-- back to normal and I'm very pleased with their service.

I recently reached out to Ameco to have solar panels installed and everything from customer service to the quality of work was top notch. I was given a quote fairly quickly and had their workers come out the following week. The whole process itself took 3 months, which I heard was fairly quick compared to other companies even despite a few hiccups. The workers that came out were super professional and respected all of my requests, and came on time and cleaned after themselves when they left. ll said and done, Ameco's quality of work and the experience I had with them was top notch!

I needed to get the gateway on my solar reconnected to my app. I'm not to good with technical stuff needed hep. A friend recommended I contact Tigram at Ameco Solar. Tigram, provided excellent customer service and made sure the job was done and things were working properly. I would highly recommend Amex to anyone considering a solar system.

The story... (You might want a cup of coffee...!)

We moved to North Hollywood from Hollywood in August 2023. Our home in Hollywood had solar, so we were used to very low utility bills. Our new home did not... We knew that the valley was always 10 degrees hotter, and knew we would get around to installing solar, but it wasn't a priority... Until we received our first utility bill... Yikes... Wow... It was north of $700 for two months! Solar installation became an immediate priority.

When we installed solar in Hollywood, much to my chagrin, I didn't do a lot of research. Suffice it to say I'm VERY sorry I didn't. This time around, I did volumes of research, reaching out to over 60 companies, comparing and contrasting the myriad systems and configurations that are available. (If you'd like to see my spreadsheets, let me know!) Sure - I didn't want to overpay for a system, but I also wanted to make sure I was working with a company that is in it for the long haul, is local, has great customer reviews, and stands behind its work.

I narrowed the list down to 3 companies - all who were reasonably competitive. I chose Ameco, and I am so glad I did.

The work Ameco did is superb. Not only was communication exceptional, the work was done exceptionally well. And everything passed inspection the first time. Our electric bill this summer? $22 for two months! (And the price on the installation and system was so good that we ended up putting in a few extra panels - good choice.)

So, back to Hollywood... We used an installation company called ""Freedom Forever""... I will likely regret that decision for the rest of my life. The install was fine. However, the 3g system they put in to communicate with the app was derelict shortly after the system was installed, so I had to have a new communication system put in. Then, the inverter died and had to be replaced. Covered under warranty, the company was reasonably efficient with that problem. When the inverter died again last month (July 12, 2024 on a system that is 7 years old), the company that also monitors our system (SolarEdge) was actually quite prompt in delivering us a new inverter - covered under warranty. Getting it installed by our installer, Freedom Forever, however - it never happened...

When finally I was able to get a hold of a person at Freedom Forever a week later, even though I told them we had the inverter in hand, I was told it would take between 7 and 14 days for a technician to simply look at their online monitoring system to confirm the inverter wasn't working. What? At 15 days, I reached out again and could not get anyone to respond. I made several attempts to get hold of the company thereafter, then finally gave up.

I tell you about Freedom Forever and my experience, because I finally reached out to Ameco to see if it could help. The next day, an Ameco technician (Tigram) was sent out to replace the inverter installed by Freedom Forever. A couple of hours later, the inverter was installed and the system is back up and running. (Yay, Ameco! Yay, Tigram!) Unfortunately, in order to see the production on the app, Freedom Forever has to update the serial number on the new wifi device and the new inverter.

Great...

I reached out this morning, and much to my surprise, received a response. Much to my dismay the response was that it will take up to 30 DAYS for Freedom Forever to address my concern. I am so done with this company, I can't even begin to tell you. So much so that I am researching how to change out the inverter entirely, and moving the monitoring system - even if it costs me to do so.

I wish I had done the research I did this time the first time. I wish Ameco had done the installation on our other home because I am certain I would not be in the predicament I am in now. Truly, if and when you consider installing solar, you'd be hard pressed to find a company better than Ameco. (And they do roofing, too!)

Tigran and the guys at Ameco always provide excellent service. If there is a problem with my solar panels, such as a warning signal appearing on my Internet scanning system they're always there to assure me that it will be fixed and a short amount of time thank you guys so much for staying true to Ameco.
