From the moment I reached out to the company, Denny, the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. He was able to quickly come out to my house to take a look at a leak that we were having issues with. He was able to get me a fair estimate and sent a finalized proposal the next day.

While I did not end up using AmCal's services, overall, it was a very great experience and I will definitely be reaching out to Denny and his team the next time I have any roofing issues.

Denny was pleasant and came to look at our roof but didn't have a ladder so he said he'd come back again with a ladder to check out the problem. After many emails and promises to come back he never did. It was a total waste of time. Next time Denny, just be honest and say you can't do it.

I hired amcal to fix some corrugated roofing panels that were beyond repair, and he did an excellent job. He was on time and very reasonably priced, I was able to get a hold of them on the first call, and set up an appointment for the next day, they arrived on time for the estimate, and fixed the roof 2 days later. I'll definitely be calling back for all my roofing needs in the future

Denny came by as soon as I called to look at our leaky roof. It's the rainy season, and most roofers were booked, but he made an effort to tend to my roof, which was a patch job, as soon as possible. We had buckets of rain coming in, so he patched the roof the next day, and said he would return either while we were on vacation, or after, and finish the job.

When he patched the roof, we gave him a $300 down payment to finish the work. The patch held over the holidays, and true to his word, he finished the job after. There was a small discrepancy in the total amount, but I'm chalking it up to communication differences others have mentioned. All in all, very thorough work, timely, and friendly. Great job!

Excellent workmanship, great pricing, quick, clean, and pleasant to work with.

I had to call Denny for immediate help with our roof when our siding project showed us that we had broken joists under our roof. We had to find someone willing to not only give a quote quickly, but also be able to start ASAP.

In gathering quotes, I found Denny's pricing to be among the best.

What I didn't understand, and still don't, is why more people don't know about Denny and his crew. They were responsive, did excellent work, and were a pleasure to work with.

The one thing I will mention is that Denny does have a thick accent, and it can be difficult to communicate on the phone, as another person pointed out. But Denny is always looking for the right way to do things, and for how he can help you.

I'd hire him again in an instant, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him if you need roofing work.

Denny did work on my house last year. He recommended repairing the roof rather than replacing. This meant that he added an extra two layers of tiles on top of what was there. Other contractors wanted to replace but when I asked them if replacement was an option they admitted it was. Regardless, no one came close to the price. I was very happy.
