There's something about family owned and operated businesses. Alvarez is no different. They show up when they say they are, they call if they are going to be delayed or are running late, they give in-depth repair estimates and pay attention to detail. Are you going to pay a little more? Slightly but it's worth it because unlike every other Woofter in Tampa, they don't subcontract work out. I had a hole repaired where an old furnace exhaust once was and it was a great experience beginning to end. Highly recommend this business

Alvarez did my roof and did not do it correctly, they also did not warranty the work and we had to hire another company to fix what they did wrong this not only happened to me but 3 of my neighbors as well. It cost us all $1,000 to get our roofs corrected. I would not recommend this company.

Alvarez Roofing repaired my roof in 2017 as a referral from a friend. Job was done start to finish in less than a day. Now in 2020 when I needed another repair I called Alvarez. Again, prompt, professional, cleaned up, start to finish in under a day and no surprise charges. Highly recommended. Not your typical FL contractor - its been a family business for many many years.

He even took multiple photos of each stage of work and then texted them to me to discuss all what he had done. Nice extra touch!

Heard about Alvarez reputation-after speaking to Omar I was very confident that these were the folks I wanted to take care of this project. All details were discussed, the estimate was fair & reasonable for all that was required to do job right. They utilize high quality materials and have excellent work ethics.

Communication from the start to finish was excellent. The crew arrived started removing shingles at 8:30 a.m., completed loaded up and left at 3:30pm. (and there were some areas that had to be repaired due to water damage which took time to address).These guys worked quickly, proficiently and did amazing cleanup afterwards.

Extremely pleased and would strongly recommend if you want quality job without anxiety of wondering if you will get $ worth.
