Nichols holds a GAF Master Elite certification as a roofing contractor. He pursued business studies at Tarleton State University until 1996 and entered the construction field in 1998. He earned his roofing contractor license in 2001 and by 2005, he was one of only five contractors in the country selected by Eco-Star —owned by the multi-billion dollar conglomerate “Carlisle”—to become a “Gold Star Applicator” He was among the first to apply Class-A impact/fire resistant commercial-grade shingles to luxury homes.

In 2006, Nichols received his all-lines insurance adjuster license, allowing him to help numerous clients navigate millions in claims and related insurance repairs. Moreover, Nichols is well-versed in HAAG engineering protocols for hail and windstorm inspections to accurately evaluate the legitimacy of claims.
