Nichols holds a GAF Master Elite certification as a roofing contractor. He completed his business education at Tarleton State University in 1996 before entering the construction industry in 1998. In 2001, he obtained his roofing contractor license and by 2005, he was one of only five contractors in the country selected by Eco-Star —owned by the multi-billion dollar conglomerate “Carlisle”—to become a “Gold Star Applicator” He was one of the pioneers in applying Class-A impact/fire resistant commercial-grade shingles on upscale residential properties.

In 2006, Nichols earned an all-lines insurance adjuster license, which has enabled him to assist hundreds of clients with millions of dollars in claims and subsequent insurance repairs. Furthermore, Nichols is well-versed in HAAG engineering protocols for hail and windstorm inspections to accurately evaluate the legitimacy of claims.
