Our roof sprung a leak, which I discovered when I stepped into a huge wet spot on the carpet. Alta-Cal roofing arrived and diagnosed the problem. The quoted price was very fair, and the work was done reliably and promptly. I have not had any problems after the fix and it was a pleasure to do business with this high quality roofing company!

John and his team did a great job on my roof. I got 4 estimates before going with Alta. We were able to negotiate the right price. John was very responsive. He answered all my questions and concerns. His company was also the only company that could get the certain color shingle I wanted. He even recommended an owl to hopefully deter the seagulls from pecking on the roof. He even bought the owl for me and had his worker install it! On the day of the job, he texted me to let me know the crew was there.

They are fast workers, and left the home and surroundings spotless!

Alta-Cal Roofing Owner John Roach is my hero! I discovered a tile had fallen from the south-side of my roof edge and John was able to come out and replace it the same day. Mind you, this was just before our latest mini-atmospheric-river rain storm hit that evening! What a relief! John also provided a roof inspection and a quote for additional repairs the next day. I'm very happy with my roof! Dave gave me a fair price and the work was completed on schedule with no hitches. The lead roofer, Milton, was charming and his crew was respectful of my property. They cleaned up debris and worked nonstop with a high rate of quality. I highly recommend Alta Cal for your roofing needs.

I was so impressed with the kindness and professionalism of Chris, the roofing contractor whom my husband contacted to check on our roof. He came on short notice (before a storm) to address a concern we had with what seemed to be a leak in our skylight or in our roof. Although he found no major issues to fix (which was actually a good thing), he swept debris off our roof and taped something on the skylight which seemed to help - or at least we did not have any leaks or stains on the ceiling after the most recent storm. He was thorough, professional, and incredibly generous with his time and expertise. Chris went above and beyond, as he didn't charge for this initial visit and even reached out to my husband to inquire about how it went the following day after the storm. He treated us more like long-time rather than first-time customers, and if we have issues with the roof in the future, we will contact him.

We had AltaCal do repairs on our roof. They were quick to respond to our call and to repair. They did awesome job and were reasonable as far cost. Hopefully we won't need there service but, if we do they will be first to call!

Alta-Cal recently did a great job replacing a large section on a wood shake roof that needed to be done prior to solar PV install. They quoted for the job to include replacing additional metalwork, moving some
and repainting other vents and hydro-washing the whole roof wood shake. (An essential part of maintaining your wood shake roof I gather.) William managed the job, and luckily was able to get the job into their schedule almost immediately. His efficient crew did a fantastic job tearing off the old roof and disposing it effectively, then replacing with new shake, specified by me, over the course of a few days. The whole roof was washed, some split shakes then were fixed up with shingle inserts and the job was completed to what I think was a high standard.
