Aloha Roofing is truly the BEST! From the beginning of dealing with John Fairro to the payment process everything was EXCEPTIONAL! I also have my own small business, I am in no way related to this business so, I am very diligent in making sure QUALITY is in everything in a business. Aloha and professionalism in this business is truly alive! The price, excellent work, and top quality of the materials used made me so glad I choose ALOHA ROOFING OVER 4 OF THE OTHER top rated companies. I had a large roof that required the old roof to be removed, damaged roofing to be replaced and solar water heater panel removed. They even cleaned the solar water panel and removed it with OUT charge! I noticed they had all well mannered and hard working men. One worker even had a magnetic tool to scan my entire property for nails! AMAZING! Again, I could not be happier to use this company and you will be surely glad you did too! A BIG MAHALO NUI LOA! Aloha roofing is fantastic. I hired them with Blind Faith! They completed my entire roof in an incredibly short amount of time. John is a super professional and the crew is one of the hardest working bunch I have observed in quite a long time. Their prices were also cheaper than ANYONE else, while quality does not suffer one bit. Same materials as the other guys, in fact, even BETTER quality.

Where other companies won't even show up or call back with an estimate, these guys where right there when I needed them.

Second BONUS! They moved my existing PV panels like pro's! Other companies charge extra and sub it out.

Great, affordable company. Michael came and did an estimate on the very same day I called! He is efficient, friendly, and personable. Honest as well, as he recommended only work that needed to be done. The men that showed up to complete the job were also friendly. I was happy to see that the employees that came to do the job were trustworthy, professional, and friendly people. No shady jail house characters that can sometimes show up for these jobs... I felt safe leaving my home and property while they completed the job :-). And the work? Im a bit of a perfectionist and what I have is: a beautiful job. Clean lines, and well sealed edges. Not only that, their work area was completely cleaned of any debris. If I wasn't home to see them come and go, I would have never known they were at my home, except of course, the new roof!! Thank you Michael, I appreciate your honesty and professionalism!

WOW! What a quality job by Aloha Roofing! These guys are as professional as they come, paying close attention to detail and leaving our home as if they were never there every time they left. I scrutinized the edges and am very impressed with their workmanship. Ed & Jean surely run a fanatic business! Awesome job!

I did my research, called around, checked with the Better Business Bureau, and then had a couple of roofing companies come to my house to personally check them out and have them provide written estimates on my roof. After reviewing the bids I ended up selecting Aloha Roofing, not because they were the cheapest but because they seemed to provide the best value for what I wanted. They were not over promising ""lifetime guarantees"" or providing estimates far below market. Experience has taught me that in the end you get what you pay for, you see I did not want to simply want add a third layer of roofing over my existing 30-year old roof like the other vendors where encouraging, but rather scrape off the old roof which clearly had some soft spots and was peeling off at the corner, and start anew with a quality roof.

Aloha Roofing finished the job in 7.5 hours. We did run into unexpected challenges, an additional roofing base needed to be applied when old roofing insulation was unexpectedly discovered which would have cost 25% more than the original estimate, but when I pointed this out to them we agreed on a $500 discount to offset the cost. When conducting business you will always run into unexpected challenges - that's a given, but it's how businesses respond to these challenges that separate those with integrity versus those who are simply looking to make a quick buck. I'd use Aloha Roofing again, but I suspect that I will not have to because my roof will last longer than I will. Kudos to Michael (Estimator) and Jean (Office Manager) from Aloha Roofing, it was a pleasure working with you both. I appreciated your professionalism, warm service, and timely responses to my calls and emails.


UPDATED ON 12/27/17:

I am now even MORE impressed with Aloha Roofing. After a heavy rain our roof started to leak one night. I send an email to Aloha Roofing asking for help and that SAME night, Jean emails me back asking if she could send someone the next morning. The next morning, Ed comes right on time and discovers that it was not the roof but the PV attachment that was the source of the leak. Never the less Ed says since we are already here we will plug the leaking PV support for you free of charge. I offer Ed a big tip to buy his lunch today for his help but he refuses saying there was no need for that and that he was happy to help one of their customers.

Now that is outstanding customer service! A company that truly stands by their work, immediately responds to client concerns 4-YEARS after the fact, and fixes problems that is not even their responsibility.

When it comes to roofing, I without hesitation would strongly recommend Aloha Roofing. Don't make the mistake of going with a cheaper, take the money and run outfit. Aloha Roofing is the company to go with for sure!

I would give this company zero stars if that were an option. I would never do business with a company whose owner has no respect for other peoples property rights and who has lied straight to my face. After personally speaking with Ed, the owner of Aloha Roofing, to let him know that his company could not use my property as an access to perform the roofing work that his company was doing for a neighbor, to which he understood and verbally agreed . . . on that very same day (12/10/13) he had a huge flatbed truck park upon my property to deliver roofing materials to complete the neighbor's job. This was no ordinary flatbed truck, however, this was a very, very huge and heavy flatbed truck -- the type with a conveyor belt that can reach over three stories high to transport materials up to the roof. Just imagine the kind of stress that this kind heavy equipment can cause on ground not designed to accommodate its weight.

When I was able to discovered what was going on (after returning from picking up my child from school) and then demanded that they immediately remove the delivery truck off of my property, they refused. To add insult to injury, workmen called the police on me to have ME arrested! As it turned out, the delivery truck was cited by the police for trespassing.

In any event, Aloha Roofing has no ""Aloha"" whatsoever and I would never want to deal with a company who conducts itself in such an unethical, unprofessional manner.
