We hired Owens Corning ""Platinum"" Allstate Exteriors and Restoration (also known as Allstate Exteriors) to replace our roof after Hurricane Ian. Their contract promised ""an amazing install"" but instead the crew installed a defective roof and caused damage to our house inside and out. After Allstate Exteriors installed the underlayment, it rained in our house in more than 10 places at the same time. After the shingles were installed the roof FAILED final inspection two times.

When we addressed our concerns, they responded by sending us a notice of lien, threatened to charge us 1.5% interest for every month we did not pay our invoice in full and to cancel our warranty.

We had numerous professional inspections and have 100s of pictures documenting a long list of problems with the roof Allstate Exteriors installed on our house. Pictures don't lie. After getting results from the inspections, we asked Allstate Exteriors to replace our roof because we hired them to install a ""new"" roof not a defective roof that is patched in over 100 places.

After waiting a year we requested Allstate Exteriors to refund the money we paid them and asked them to pay for the damages their crew caused inside and outside of our house. We waited for almost a year and a half for Allstate Exteriors to do the right thing... they never did. We had to fire Allstate Exteriors and hire and pay a new contractor to replace our roof and fix the damages they caused.

Hired Allstate Exteriors to tear off and replace my roof. Could not be more pleased with the results. The things important to me were the value and the integrity of the company. After seeing roofing companies taking people's money and closing down, makes me happy that I chose Allstate. Their employees were professional and communicated throughout the job. They were scheduled for a Monday morning. I called to confirm at 9 am.
They said we were on. At 3 pm I called again and they said I was rescheduled for Tuesdsy, even though NO ONE LET ME KNOW. Tuesday morning I called to confirm. They said they would be by that day but couldn't give me a time or even a time frame. At 1 pm or so, I called and canceled. Seems to be a Florida thing this rudeness and lack of professionalism. We moved to Sarasota County to get away from this type of nonsense, but it appears this is standard, sunshine.

Called Allstate after Hurricane Ian because we had roof damage. They did a great job on the project, they helped get the whole roof covered from our insurance company which had said I needed to do a repair. I would highly recommend Allstate to anyone needing a roof replaced.

Allstate replaced our roof in November 2021. After Ian our roof was the only one in our area without damage except for several shingles on the peak, which Allstate came and replaced for free . Nice that there are companies that stand by their service. We highly recommend them!

AVOID. LIE, LIES, LIES, and more LIES when they are confronted with their LIES. Workers cut my gutter hangers to make it easier to install the drip edge. They replace plywood that did not need replacing. They pay their workers a bonus for each sheet of plywood they replace. Damaged my ceiling and it took more than 60 days to get them to pay. They paid only after I threaten their license. You can't believe anything they say. They will say whatever they think you want to hear. Stay Away.
