Agree with another review on here. After having talked to a few guys working on my neighbor's house, I thought I can probably work with these guys. A few months later I made a few calls and no one ever picked up, nor did anyone respond to my voicemails and email. If it's this difficult to reach them now, I can only imagine how difficult it'll be later.

Wen and his team are very competitive for pricing, and do a superb job whether it is flooring, tiling, remodeling, or carpentry! I have used them multiple times for work on investment properties, and most recently to remodel a bathroom and do a fireplace surround. As always, they were helpful in planning the job, prompt in completing the work, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend them.

Wen and his team, including Martin and Mario, worked on both Mom & our condos to get them done in the nick of time for our third trimester~ a last minute request with a very short time frame. Quote was quick and painless. The work that was done remodeling our condos were beyond our expectations and it was very easy to discuss plans, give, and get feedback from Wen. We are grateful for the recommendations he gave to assure our place was functional, fit for our lifestyle, and worthy within our budget!

After reading the reviews posted on Yelp I emailed All Star Team Construction with details for a duplex remodel project and a request to coordinate a meeting. I did not receive a response for 2 days thus I attempted to call however no one picked up and the voicemail was full. I attempted to call for 2 days and the voicemail continued to be full and nobody answered the phone. I sent a second email requesting follow up and still did not receive a response. I understand everyone is busy, however this inability to setup a process for customer response is a red flag for me and I was very disappointed with my experience with this highly rated contractor.

Wen and his team remodeled my home earlier this year. He was extremely knowledgeable of everything related to remodeling - flooring, tiling, bathrooms, kitchens. He never tried to 'sell' anything, but rather provided information to help us make the right decision and we really appreciated that. When something was not in his core expertise (i.e. carpeting), he was also very upfront about it.

What impressed me most about Wen was his work ethic. He really did whatever he could to make his clients happy and help make sure we were on schedule. It was not unusual for him to continue answering my questions even past midnight, so that the project could continue on the right path by morning time. This kind of constant attentiveness allowed us to complete a project of demolishing some walls, re-doing our tiling, removing carpet and putting in new flooring - in only one month's time. That's amazing!!!

One last story I will leave you with that I felt went far above and beyond. I had re-patched a wall in my home with new wall, and had wanted to find paint that matched the rest of my walls, a light cream color. Wen and I both tried color-swatching at various paint stores and testing it on the walls, but the color always varied a bit. I pretty much gave up at the end and told Wen that's fine maybe just leave it as a slight accent wall - but to my total surprise, the day we went for the final walkthrough, he surprised me with a wall that looked identical to the rest of the house!! He knew I wasn't happy with the prior results, and did whatever he could to make sure it was fixed.

Go to Wen and All Star Team Construction and you will not regret it!

young but extremely experienced contractor who always figures it out. he's a one stop shop which is great for whole house remodel. nothing he can't do. only negative is his busy schedule and not always punctual but worth the wait!!!

Impressed by so many very positive reviews, I chose to work with Wen and his company. Wen came out to give me a free estimate, and we worked out a plan where his team would come in and do the work while I was out of town for 3 days. When I came back, the floors were beautiful! I was very happy with the workmanship. He also moved back some of my furniture including my heavy bed so that I had a place to sleep that night when I arrived late from an evening flight home . Even afterwards, when I had some questions, Wen was very responsive to my emails. I highly recommend All Star Team Construction.

I found Wen and his company thru Yelp, so these tips and reviews are really helpful. We based our decision to hire him on all these positive reviews. And he lived up to his reputation. My wife called Wen to set up a free estimate on the work we wanted done on our house. He was professional and to the point, even managing to go out of his busy work schedule to squeeze us in on such short notice. His team, esp Pablo, is hardworking, efficient and professional. Once they started to work on the house, we kept adding to the project. Even though they were minimal, they were able to finish the renovation on schedule. We are very satisfied with their work. And they're nice and friendly, making the stress and hassle of a renovation more bearable. The price was reasonable for the quality of work they provide. All in all, we are happy. We have already asked Wen to keep us on the books for our next project, as soon as our budget will allow. =)
