It's a pleasure to write this review - All Seasons Roofing (Newcastle, CA) was absolutely, hands down the BEST roofer we've ever worked with in our decades of marriage. Our 'new' home came with a not so great surprise. We knew we'd have to have a roof put on, but then found out the plywood under the old roof was hardly nailed down at all! Jim & Clint went 300% overboard to explain what the problem was, how it could be corrected, and took care of everything. We now have a WONDERFUL new roof (and gutters/guards) and won't have to worry about leaks or whether it was done correctly. They worked so hard to make everything come out right for us, and we're sorry to see them go -- it's like having really great friends who came to help and know everything about roofing! You truly need an honest person working on your home and ESPECIALLY when there was poor work done before. Don't worry about any of it, just call All Seasons Roofing! THEY ARE THE BEST!

We received several bids that were up to $10K in separation. All-Season Roofing not only came in with the lowest bid, they let us know immediately windows of availability. Jim and his son, Clinton, surveyed our shake roof and had a bid for us the very next day. The roof removers showed up on a Wednesday and removed our 2 storied roofs in less than three hours; the roofers appeared just as the removing crew was finishing and proceeded to run the wood and the new shingle packages to the top. Marcus and his son, Marcus, appeared on Thursday and immediately impressed us with their work ethic, experience and artistry. In just over 3 days our 2 stories were completed and the gutters blown while Jim, the owner, cleaned the perimeter of the house. Both my wife and I were very impressed with their professionalism and concern that things were done the way we wanted them. We highly recommend All-Season Roofing.

This is a local family owned firm; they gave us a very attractive bid, showed up on time, handled everything from start to finish, and remodeled our porch roof, something I've wanted to do since we bought the place. We just got a new roof from All Seasons. We were referred to them by our neighbor. Their owner, Jim, was timely and professional with his his. His crew got in and got the job done very quickly and cleaned up everything each day. They did the entire house and garage in four days. They were excellent!

I needed a new roof and a neighbor who just had his done, highly recommended Jim. I got three bids and by far Jim was the most straightforward and honest, and his price was very competitive! Jim's crew was fantastic and they cleaned up each day, and in the end, did a super job. Jim was on-site daily and maintaned constant communication with me as the job progressed. All Seasons replaced my shake roof in about 2003 with, I was told, extra thick shakes. The roof was supposed to last 25 years. It is now 2019. Several years ago I had lost a few shakes and asked Jim, the owner, if he could replace them. I had to purchase a bundle that cost about $80 and he also charged to do the work at a minimal cost. It didn't occur to me until several years later, that he had taken the remainder of the bundle with him. I paid for the whole bundle. Fast forward to a couple of years ago. I needed him to come out again...more shakes lost in winter storms. I left multiple messages and his wife finally did respond and said she would have to check Jim's schedule. She never got back to me despite the fact that I left several more voicemails. I had someone else come out and he replaced 10 to 15 shakes. He told me that the shakes were not extra thick. I tried contacting the manufacturer of the shakes but the phone number seemed to belong to another company now. So here I am, about nine years short of the 25 year guarantee and my shakes a splitting like crazy. The man who came out most recently said I might be able to stretch another 6 or so years out of the roof. I regret getting the shake roof. I should have gone comp. I know better now. I had really liked this company and the owner, but their commitment to their customers seems to have deteriorated over the years. It's a real shame.

I just had a great experience with Jim Blake and his company, All Seasons Roofing. Their bid and workmanship was excellent! I had my entire 1200 square foot house re-roofed. They were literally in and out in two days including taking care of unexpected dry rot. Jim is an experienced roofer and he and his crew are awesome! I cannot say enough good about them. Jim was communicative and showed up and departed when he said they would. They cleaned up daily and were totally organized. His phone # is 916-483-1318! I can definitely say that I trust this company and loved working with them. I have received many compliments on my new roof.

Jim handled everything with our new roof and gutters and we couldn't be happier. He always showed up on time and explained the process thoroughly. His crew was great. They even expertly lifted our HVAC unit on the roof to properly roof under and around it. They also made sure to clean up all debris and nails. It was truly amazing. Our new roof and gutters are beautiful and we have received many compliments regarding how nice the roof looked. I wish all of my other remodel projects went as smoothly as this project. All Seasons replaced my mom's roof in 1999 and recently she saw some discoloration on a corner of her dining room. Uncertain if there was a possible leak, I called All Seasons to check it out. An appointment was made for Sept. 26 at 10:00am, but no one showed up and did not even call. I called to reschedule and left a voicemail. We then received a voicemail from roofer Jim on Sept. 29 saying he was at the house and that no one was home...an appointment was not made, therefore we were not home. I called back wanting to give All Seasons another chance and made another appointment. The receptionist that took my call was very nice and we made an appointment for Oct. 5 at 12:00pm. Again, no one showed up by 12:30pm, no phone call and we had to leave for another appointment. We then received a voicemail later that afternoon saying roofer Jim came by the house and that the roof looked good and there were no visible leaks and to call back if I had any questions. We had wanted the roofer to come into the home so that we could show him exactly where the discoloration was so that he could inspect that part of the roof. I called the company again and left a message asking why they continue to come at unscheduled times, that I was still interested in having them come out and if we could possibly work something out. This evening I received a very unprofessional voicemail from Jim accusing me of being rude, being raised inappropriately, that he's been to the house twice and what should he do to get in...break the door! And he ended by telling me to get another roofer! That is the best advice I've received from All Seasons...get another roofer!

Outstanding company! I was referred to Jim (the owner) by a retired roofer who spoke highly of his work. Jim has been roofing since before I was born, and the product he puts out reflects his years of experience. He works right next to his crews and he communicated any concern he had and let us know what to expect. He personally handled the building permits with the city and had a good rapport with the inspectors. The work was completed to schedule and without any hiccups. A++
