Bob clearly is an experienced roofer, knowledgeable, very personable, however; I would make sure you get a written quote with details of charges or pay in cash on the spot.
I had a small job, Bob gave me a verbal quote and fixed it, but when they invoiced me it was more than the agreed amount, with no itemized list of charges, when I asked about it they provided confusing reasons for the increase, and that they cant do work for free. As if I was trying to take advantage of them - hey I did not provide the quote, but silly me did not get it in writing. Nothing in writing, then it never happened. My fault!

I paid the bill, wont go back. They lost a future full roof job over $25.

During the epic rainstorms, we discovered wet spots on our ceiling. I gave Bob a call after numerous roofers were either unavailable or booked out very far. Bob responded right away and came out immediately to assess the problem. When the rains got worse, he came to tarp the roof until the storms stopped and this week he came by to complete the repairs and then some. He is very communicative and knows exactly what to do when you describe a problem. Will be keeping him on speed dial for my roofing needs from now on!
