*NOT Closed. He just finished my job 2 weeks ago*
We needed some work done for a room remodel that involved framing, door /window install AND concrete- Mark had competent teams for both. Really awesome crew, dealing with the oddball construction of my existing house- and maximizing what could be done with our time and budget restraints. Our only regret- the siding is horizontal, whereas the rest of the house is vertical. Not a biggie. He's a builder, not a designer. Price was definitely fair, and knocked out my job extremely fast.

We had a roof installed by All Good in July 2015. We also had the chimney re-framed with hardiboard and two bathroom vents extended through the roof to meet current code done at the same time. The owner, Mark, was matter of fact and friendly. I appreciated his honesty. He told us what we needed and what would be a waste of money. The workers were professional, efficient, and did a great job cleaning up. This is the 3rd time All Good has roofed this home in the past 30 years. We never had any problems associated with the installation including no fireplace leaks and no leaks around the skylight. We had a patio addition installed by Sears many years ago and it's roof leaked until we hired All Good to redo the roof. It has not leaked since they re-roofed it in 2003. If you want a quality job done at a very reasonable price by a trustworthy company, I highly recommend All Good.

The experience of placing a sun room addition to my home was very pleasant. Mark explained what needed to be done and his crew (especially Jose) were super professionals and when they started the job there was no wasted time or standing around during the project. I know that I am going to enjoy it very much. Thank you Mark and your crew for a job well done. Your staff along with your build out crews should be congratulated for superb service laced with promptness and professionalism.

All Good Roofing just completed a difficult reroofing job on our one-story, somewhat large, home. The job involved tearing off the old wood-shingle roof, and the asphalt overlay roof (two roofs) and re-decking the entire roof. We also had a chimney cricket installed to improve the water flow around the chimney. The bid included new skylights, vents, and drip edge. The job took three days and each day the crew cleaned up around the property, and when they left, everything was cleaned up such that one wouldn't have known what a huge mess was made by the tearing off of two roof. A competing bidder wanted to uninstall all of the gutters, and have us pay extra to have them reinstalled. All Good did not have to remove the gutters. The crew was very responsive to any request we made and there were enough workers assigned to the job to get it done in a timely fashion. One day I counted 6 or 7 workers on the job. The materials used were great, solar decking and 35+ year guarantee on the shingles, and an 8 year guarantee from All Good. Other bids we received on the job were slightly higher than All Good, and the job came in right at the bid price. The owner, Mark, was good about calling us to keep us apprised of the job's progress. If you have a big roofing project, this company can do the job. They are definitely not a Mom & Pop type of company.

These guys are great! I found them on the Better Business Bureau website. Austin got a big wind storm recently, and a bunch of our shingles blew off. They came out real fast to bid the work, then got it done the next day. We're back up to snuff, before the next storm came through, and it was less than 25% of our deductible. I'm so glad we got a hold of All Good. Mark did the bid, was very polite and professional. Monica on the phone called to make sure my dog was locked up, before Oscar came and did the work. They were all really considerate, and the work looks great. I could not be more pleased.

I just had these guys put on a carport. It looks awesome and they did a great job. They showed up when they were supposed to and got the job done quickly. The price was very fair compared to other estimates. No complaints at all.

I had a patio put in and started leaking after 2 years. The posts were not treated and then started breaking. They are inexpensive next to the competition, but you get what you pay for. Live and learn.

Never again. They have the worst communication skills of any business I have dealt with. They stood me up once before installing my patio roof. And then they stood me up three times for painting the patio roof. Why don't they just call the client if they are not going to show up? After getting stood up three times (stupid me) I cancelled completely. When I cancelled, they seemed surprised and unapologetic about it. I am satisfied with the patio roof they installed. It is very good. But now it is unpainted and rusting because I do not want to have to deal with this company again.

We called All Good Additions in order to have a concrete patio poured in our back yard. Of the 3 contractors that we looked at, All Good Additions came in the with fastest and lowest bid. The owner was very nice, friendly, and we decided to have them do the job.

Our land slopes and we were told that the concrete patio would probably have a good 10"" drop in the corner where it dropped the most. Since he wasn't able to measure the slope right then and there we didn't know whether or not we were going to need any steps leading down into the yard from the patio. The owner provided us with a quote and indicated if a step was needed that it would be included.

Scheduling was easy and they showed up ready to work with a full crew and an english speaking foreman, which was nice. The crew was fast, efficient, and clearly experienced.

The first hang-up that occurred was after part of the form had been built. My wife and I noticed that we were not going to have a 10"" drop, it was going to be more like 2 feet! So we asked the foreman if there was a plan for a step and he indicated that the owner mentioned there might be a need for one. I had to wonder, though, when they were going to ask us about this because they were moving full steam ahead with the form.

We decided to have steps down into the yard on two ends of the patio and they had to tear down part of the existing form in order to add this. Again, when were they planning to ask about the steps?

Later that day the form was complete and they had us inspect it. The owner came out and looked it over as well and said it looked great. They proceeded with the concrete pour the next day.

Here again the workers were fantastic and did a great job. They finished and cleaned up after themselves very well.

The next day the owner came out for payment, looked it over, and asked if we wanted to consider having a patio covering installed. We indicated that we were definitely interested in having one done, especially since he had done one for our neighbor, but that we didn't have the $9K-$10K it would take to do it right away. We laughed off his suggestion to charge it to a credit card and gave him his payment.

Over the next couple of days as we walked around it, we started to realize that the step leading into our yard was really really big. In order to step down into the yard you had to step down about 11.5 inches! I looked it up, and your average step is supposed to be around 7 inches. After my wife nearly hurt her ankle and our 2 year old nearly rolled into the yard we concluded there was something wrong.

When we called to see about having an additional step added so that the drop off wouldn't be so large, the owner reminded us that we had a chance to look at the form before the concrete pour and that he could send somebody out to add a step for a reasonable fee.

While we understand his reasoning and desire to cover his added expense, we feel like the 11.5"" step was an error that should not require additional money from us.

The fact that there was even a discussion about money here tells me this isn't a person I want to do business with again nor somebody I would recommend to another person. The sad part for the owner is that when we are ready to get a patio cover there is no way we are going to select All Good Additions which means that while he might have saved himself a little money today, he just lost the potential for $9K down the road.

Our arguments boiled down to this:

His argument:
1) I threw in those steps for free
2) I already discounted your job $1,000
3) We don't like to have big bulky steps protruding out into the yard because customers sometimes complain

Our argument:
1) Maybe. Nobody knew whether or not a step was going to be required and if he was smart he would have baked the cost into the quote.
2) I doubt it. He said this 'after' we told him the bid we received from another contractor, which was $1,000 more. Now he's claiming he gave us a discount?
3) Customers also don't like trips to the hospital after falling down a step with a rise height 50% higher than a standard step.

Update:

So after agreeing to the owner's additional charge to have the step installed, his guy shows up and says it's going to cost 15% more than what the owner said because there was a miscommunication about which step was being added. We're ready to be done with this mess and so agree to his price hike.

He builds the step and when we look at it at the end of the day, one of the corners is sagging, presumably because he removed the form boards too soon! Now we have a beautiful saggy step but at least nobody's going to kill themselves walking into our yard.
