Charles from All Climate Roofing was able to quickly respond to a leak we had during the recent rains, and diagnosed several other major problems throughout our whole roof. I feel confident in the repairs done and the guarantee he provided for the work done. While I understood that until the roof is inspected, and in some areas opened up, he was unable to give us a full quotation before the repairs were started, I would have felt more confident in knowing what the spend would be. But he worked with us on the price, which was fair for the amount of work he and his team had to do.

I purchased a single family house recently. Call Charles to estimate. Found leaking and many broken tiles. He and his crews repaired my roof in a few days. They did a great job! All work were done before the heavy rain came. Appreciated their immediate help! So that, no further damage from the leak. Reasonable price! Highly recommend!

Great company to work with! Clear communication, detailed estimate, easy and reliable scheduling of work. Pricing was very competitive and I got exactly what I expected. Completed job was on time and of good quality! I will use this company again for all other roofing jobs!

Many thanks to the efficient and detailed repairs to our roof and gutters by All Climate Roofing. From the first phone call, I was impressed with the scheduling, the follow-through, and the professionalism of Lucy, Charles and the entire crew. In the unseasonable heat, the work was done well and the yard was left clean each day. I would certainly call them again and recommend their services!

Charlie and his team were professional and thorough & on time, in all the work that was done on our home. Their work also included not only working on the roof, but also both our decks. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend All Climate Roofing to anyone who needs an honest & trustworthy roofing company. In fact I did refer a friend, and she was very impressed with the job they did!

Charles and Lucy are so professional in their communication and in their service. They responded to my call right away and came to do the repair immediately, right before the big storm. Charles provided me with useful information about my roof and how to continue to maintain it after the repair. I enjoy receiving service from professionals who care about their work and their clients. Highly recommended!

We were thrilled with the attention and completed job of All Climate Roofing. Charles was a delight to work with, great personality, impeccable workmanship, and was on time! Even though it was a small job for him (Spanish Tile patio roof,) he treated us with the same respect & attention he would for a large, expensive job. His wife Lucy was very easy to work with also! Yes....we recommend All Climate Roofing and will use them again if we need his services!

All Climate Roofing is the worst and most incompetent company that I have dealt with in a very long time. Charles(owner) came in and low balled us with 2 estimates for work. His book keeper and wife(Lucy) is horrible at what she does. After all was said and done, they charged us over $10,000 more than he originally estimated; he also did work that was not approved, double billed us, threatened to put a lien on my home, and did not clean up the mess after the job was done. Because he was not willing to overlook the charges for the unapproved work that he did, I went to the Contractors State Licensing Board(CSLB). After I provided all my detailed information to the investigator, Charles advised that I did not have to pay for the work that I did not approve. I tried to resolve this with Charles before I went to the CSLB, but he refused to. Here is a list of the foul ups that occurred when dealing with All Climate Roofing.
****Pre-purchase roof inspection conducted by Charles. New roof recommended with 250-275 worth of shingles and plywood that need replacing; total cost for new roof $10,000-$12,000
****Post purchase roof inspection conducted by Charles. New roof recommended, Charles advised that very little, if any, plywood would have to be replaced; total cost approx $12,500. We also wanted him to do gutters, add some fascia, solar tube, and venting which brought the total to $15,230.
****Charles finally started the job approximately a week later than agreed upon. Charles then charged me an additional $300 to remove a trellis that he stated he would remove as part of the job.
****Once job was started, Charles and crew ripped off ALL plywood and then called me and told me that it would all need to be changed for approx $5,000 more.
****Charles then advised me that it would be an additional $1,800 to sand, paint and treat new fascia around the whole house. He advised me that in order to do the job properly, this would have to be done before the gutters are installed. Charles then advised me that he could do that job for $1,600; he then changed his mind and said he could do it for $1,700. I offered him $1,500 and he agreed to it(yes you read that right, Charles went from $1800 to $1600 and then back up to $1700)
****I asked why Charles did not give me this cost earlier, since he knew he was adding fascia and gutters. Charles got mad and kept speaking about the quality of his work and that he has never been questioned like this before.
****Lucy double charged my credit card which made me exceed my credit limit and double my minimum payment
****While changing the plywood Charles and crew did $2,775 worth of work that I never approved
****Original bid was only to change some fascia. Charles changed all fascia on east side of house without approval; even though he told my wife that it would not need to be changed at all
****Did not clean up job like his contract states. My general contractor and I found several nails in our tires that needed repair. Nails were left all around the exterior of the house. DirectTv dish was removed from roof and left on front patio area; I had to pay to dispose of it.
****Received final bill with someone else's name on it
****Finally received my final bill for over $25,300(original estimate was $15,230)
I tried several times and gave Charles the opportunity to do the right thing. I advised him that I am not a happy customer and he did not care. I ended up paying over $22,000 for a roof that he quoted me a lot less for. Charles knew he was wrong, that's why he advised CSLB that I did not have to pay $2,775 for work that I did not approve.
Once Charles started the job and saw that we were vulnerable, he jacked the price up.
PLEASE DO NOT USE ALL CLIMATE ROOFING

While I appreciate the reply, I wrote this review immediately following my conversation with you. I know what I was quoted and even stated that other companies were offering free estimates. This review reflect exactly what I encountered and nothing was fabricated; I have no motive to lie.

All Climate Roofing: Excellent Experience and totally satisfied with the workmanship and service.
I contracted with All Climate Roofing in July of 2015 for a roofing inspection and routine maintenance check up. As trying to select a contractor for a roofing job, can be cumbersome and very stressful, I had meetings with several roofing contractors to determine the scope and pricing of the work, as this was the first time, I actually had the roof looked at, since purchasing the home 12 yrs ago. I scheduled a home meeting with All Climate Roofing's Owner, Mr. Charles Petri. Upon greeting Charles at my home, I was really impressed by his professionalism and knowledge of roofing requirements, codes, and overall savvy roofing expertise. I originally thought, I needed an entire new roof, which would have probably cost me around $30K+, but that was not the case, as Charles actually advised me that the roof only needed a good maintenance and some TLC. There were a few reasons that I selected All Climate Roofing, as my contractor of choice, over many others that were available.
1. Charles was raised and has lived in the Conejo Valley for many years and is a former Thousand Oaks Lancer.
2. His honesty and integrity about the scope of the required work needed with his 20+ years of roofing proficiency.
3. Charles takes the extra time with his customers to sit down and explain every detail about the job. (If you don't know jack about roofing, you will after working with Charles Petri)
4. His ability to provide a good pre-inspection ( when talking about roofing, you have to remember and be pre-pared for the worst, as you don't know what's under the tiles, until you pull them up)
5. Has the best ""A"" working crew around and always on time for the job start.
The Job:
Again, originally the scope of the work, was just to be some routine maintenance and TLC, but as Charles and his crew started to pick up the tiles on the roof, they had discovered worn out felt paper, rotten plywood with water damage, un serviceable facial boards, cracks, missing wood, misaligned rain gutters and on and on....
My TLC job turned out to be more that a 1-day project, but Charles took the time to show me, in person, everything that was wrong with my roof. The reality was, the roof needed extra repairs from rain, wind, and sun damage, which we could not see, until the tiles were removed, but Charles was there to help and take care of the situation for me. He properly explained his work orders, managed his crew, and executed all facets of the job from beginning to end. The City of Thousand Oaks building inspector agreed with Charles work scope and approved the final inspection for sign off and building code compliancy.
I can go on, and on, but let me say, I have a new roof (75% total replaced), with a 10-year guarantee and a City of Thousand Oaks building code sign off, and the satisfaction that All Climate Roofing put my family first, and made us a priority, in helping repair our damaged roof, for less than half the cost of a total new roof replacement.
All Climate Roofing is a family operated local business, and is highly recommend for your roofing needs
