We recently had All Bay Solar do a complete solar installation on our house, and we were very happy with every aspect of their work. The project involved replacing and upgrading the electrical panel, a new roof and installing the 12 solar panels. We took bids from four different solar companies, and All Bay offered the best set of services at a very competitive price. All Bay is unique in being able to do all this work in house without using subcontractors. The job went very smoothly, was completed in a timely manner, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Carlos, the owner, was involved throughout the project, and Adon, who led the roofing team, was especially helpful in installing a new skylight, which was a little tricky. All Bay gets our highest recommendation.

I recommend working with the owner. The sales rep was not on the up and up regarding what your buying. I requested SunPower and I got brand that also supples for SunPower. Never once did the sales rep mentioned this.

The project manager was a great communicator, highly responsive and a great problem solver. The hands-on crew were all very experienced experts at their trades. The process of installing a solar system is complicated, confusing and involves so many steps--working with the sales team to design a system, inspection of your house/roof, installation by the construction team, electrical work by an electrician, permitting with the city, inspection by the city, inspection by PGE, etc... There are many websites out there, and many different companies that provide solar. While it is definitely prudent to get quotes from many different people, at the end of the day, I can say I HIGHLY recommend working with All Bay Solar.

Why?? The simple fact that All Bay Solar is a LOCAL one stop shop company. They will walk you through the whole process from start to finish. The other companies I tried to work with: Tesla, Sunrun, etc are big companies that do not care about you or your time. And it is nearly impossible to contact support if you have questions. I wasted hours of my life with both of those companies only to find out neither were options for my house in San Francisco.

If you want to install solar in the Bay Area, I highly recommend that you do as much research as possible. Understand the steps of installing solar, know how much sun you get, understand the condition of your roof, etc. Once you know as much as possible, contact All Bay Solar! Tell them Paul W sent you!

Not only was their estimate thousands of dollars less than the other two, they offered the same product and warranty. The process was efficient, smooth and seamless from start to finish. Very Happy Customer! My Solar and Electrical system is still working fine. I also asked Tom and Carlos if they could do another electrical job for me because of their expertise and quality level of service. The related inspections were passed with high praise from inspectors for the electrical contractors (All Bay Solar)!! The customer facing service rep, the project manager, electrician, and upper management were all excellent. And they are reasonable prices for the high level quality & expertise workmanship. I would not hesitate if you are looking for a straight-shooter and high quality services. They actually care about their customers!!!!

I am thoroughly impressed with Carlos and his crew. The entire experience from start to finish was second to none. During the sales process, Chris did an excellent job explaining how the system works and answering any questions that I had. He was extremely patient, well spoken, and extremely responsive. I really appreciated his no-pressure whatsoever approach. Chris would respond to calls, text messages, emails, etc.. at all times of the day/night. He also kept me in the loop every step of the way from the time I placed my order, through installation, permit to operate, and beyond (including taking care of paperwork for rebates, etc..).

The installation crew was also top notch. They were very careful, respectful, timely, and professional. They were extremely tidy and courteous to not only me, but to my neighbors as well. Not one single piece of scrap material, nail, plastic, etc.. was left behind. Well done! The fact that All Bay Solar is not just a solar installation company, but are also roofers and electricians who are local, is certainly something that does not go unnoticed. I am confident that if I have any issues (unlikely, knock on wood), they are just a call, text, or email away. During and after the installation, Carlos answered any questions that I had and also went the extra mile in terms of some caulking that needed to be done on my roof. I feel fortunate to have found All Bay Solar.

In summary, Carlos, Chris, and the rest of the crew far exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely use them again. Five stars for All Bay Solar. If I could give ten stars, I would!

All Bay Solar was a class act start to finish. I just had a 3kW system installed in South Bernal Heights. Every step of the way, from working with Thomas on the sales/contracting/financing end to Carlos and Edgar on the install, was super smooth. Very responsive, arrived on time, nice people, did great work, and cleaned up the mess before leaving. They worked with me to meet my needs on things like where to run conduit down the front of the house, where to put the sub-panel etc...

It is becoming more and more rare to find businesses that take pride in their work and behave responsibly and with integrity. They helped deal with the city/federal tax programs. I was generating solar power 8 hours after they showed up to begin the install. When the city inspectors came, they were nitpicky about some staples on a particular cable and where certain stickers were placed on one of the boxes. The whole thing was taken care of right then and there and the permit was issued later that day.

The price was very competitive compared to another local and much larger Sunpower vendor, and they did the install 6 months sooner than the other vendor was able to do. The smaller size of this company means more personalized attention.

All Bay Solar did a phenomenal job with both my roof and solar system. I wanted a SunPower system for their reputation and warranty. The sales process was handled by Thomas and he was exactly the kind of salesperson I like, gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision without pushing me into decisions. Edgar was the project manager who walked me though each step of the process. Carlos, All Bay's owner, checked in on the job to make sure everything was done right, even did his own inspection prior to the city signing off on it. Each contact shared their contact information and asked me to contact with any questions or concerns. All Bay is the best kind of smaller company since they give personal attention, employ their own people and take care of customers and employees. I have no problem recommending them and would happily use them again.

I recently had all Bay Solar install 22 SunPower series A 415 watt solar panels.(Do not confuse Bay Solar for All Bay Solar). I wanted the job finished before the end of the year. They came through and even did the job a week earlier than scheduled

Why did I go with All Bay Solar
- They have their own full time crews of installers
- They had outstanding Yelp reviews
- They carry SunPower solar panels. The industry best solar panels
- They work on tike roofs

What I learned during the installation
- Always quick response time, if I had questions about the installation. Tom Murach; the project estimator and engineer that figures configuration of the panels and Edgar Guzman the projector manager were excellent. If had any questions before or during installation. I even had a short conversation with the company owner Carlos Aguirre
- Two sets of my panels were build out on a slant so the panels would collect more sun. To save money some companies will just put the panels on the slant of the roof
- This company has full time company employees who specialize in the different area of installation
- The panel hardware and electrical system was installed in one day. They had 7 or 8 guys who worked all day to get the job done
- The panels were also installed in one day by two guys
- System was up and running a day or two after the panels were installed.
It took one guy an hour or so to turn on the panels
- They left the place clean

What I learned after the installation
- A couple of weeks after the installation the system was not working - the monitor light went red I called SunPower and they connected me with Edgar. He did the diagnosis right then and connected the system.
- On Sunday February 9 we had a power outage and somehow it stopped the panels from producing. Guess what. I called Carlos and he answered his phone on Sunday. He is coming to the house on Monday morning to fix the problem.

The fact that they have an owner who cares, they have full time employees and do not contract their work out to subs makes this company a winner
