After a brief but destructive hailstorm in April 2020, I called a friend of mine who builds custom homes and is a stickler for quality work to refer a roofer to me. He immediately put me in touch with Chuck Kersten and All American Roofing & Construction. I did my own research on Chuck as well checking out his videos on Facebook and listening to his philosophy and approach to properly restoring property after storm damage. Chuck is a hard-working and knowledgeable straight-shooter with experience both in roofing and construction as well as working as an adjuster. Chuck inspected our property within a couple of days of my call and documented potential areas of concern and even agreed to meet with our insurance adjuster early on a Friday morning on very short notice. He worked with our adjuster to ensure that adjuster inspected all potential areas of damage and that we would be treated fairly. There's a reason they call Chuck the ""Insurance Whisperer"". Chuck's keen eye for detail and advocacy resulted in us having not only our roof restored but also our fence, gutters, home and wooden playset that took damage from the large hailstorms. Chuck's a one-stop shop with trades that must meet his high standards for quality work. Leo and his crew did a fantastic job repainting our home, fence and wooden playset. Mike and his crew replaced my gutters and helped me solve some long term problems with larger gutters and spouts for handling larger volumes of water coming off the roof in specific areas. The large roofing crew did a fantastic job on the roof finishing in about 1.5 days (expected it to take almost 3 days). Chuck personally inspected the work of his trades even having them do some touch up work to ensure everything was done with quality and to our satisfaction. His payment collection was timed with the arrival of insurance money and completion of work to our satisfaction. If I have any follow-up issues, I have no doubt that Chuck will take my call and make sure everything is done right. As much as I enjoyed getting to know Chuck, I hope I don't need him anytime soon but I know who I will call if I do have issues to address in the future! Roofing vultures will swoop in and blow up your cell phone and knock on your door all hours of the day after your home takes storm damage. Chuck's been around for many years and his business is primarily through word-of-mouth with satisfied customers like myself. If you are looking for someone who is trustworthy, will advocate on your behalf to ensure the adjusters are catching all of the damage to your property, does quality work and can handle your comprehensive repair needs, Chuck is your man!

I wish I could give a 10 star review because Chuck and his guys are amazing, Chuck was always checking the job site and making sure that everything was going as planned. I have been trying for 1 year to get my insurance to pay for the roof hail damage and sent out 2 adjusters and got declined twice. I contacted Chuck through a friend and he came out looked at damage and I contacted my insurance company and they sent an adjuster and Chuck met the adjuster at my home and we finally got the approval to move on, he also reached out to a stone guy to fix other repairs and made sure the other repairs went well. I can't say enough about how awesome Chuck is and he explains to you regarding your roof and how not to use Christmas Light guys and how theyshouldn't staple the lights to your roof because it will also damage the shingles!!!!!

I am VERY impressed with the integrity of this company! I grabbed Chuck as he was leaving another home in the neighborhood and he was willing to immediately come to my home to take a look at the roof repair I had questions about. After a visual ground inspection, and taking into consideration the age of the home he told me his best guess was that I would need a whole new roof. So me, being me, started the claims process with the insurance company and the application process with my HOA. Chuck immediately sent me e-mails of shingle samples for the HOA and made an appointment to come back out with his equipment to get on top of the roof to do a better inspection.

When he did the roof inspection he came back to me to tell me that after a more thorough inspection he can't in good conscience recommend a full roof replacement. So after talking about it, we decided to leave the current roof and only repair the part I was originally concerned about in the first place. Chuck could have easily tried convincing me, and the insurance company, that we needed a new roof, but he did the right thing by telling us the truth. Our costs were drastically reduced, and we were able to avoid making an insurance claim.

Chuck also explains things very well and the crew does a great job. They left no trace of them ever having been there in the first place! Any time I do need a roofing job in the future I will definitely be calling Chuck again!
