Did total replacement of my roof in 2019 for a cost of $60,000. Called them again in 2020 to repair leak in roof over garage. They came out inspected and indicated it was a ""one off"" issue so did not repairs but they painted garage ceiling where water stain was showing. I noticed new stain in garage ceiling and called them again in 2023, they advised they are no longer serving Bonita Springs, Fl area as it too far to travel. They also indicated that recent hurricane voided all warranties for new roofs. So they did inadequate job to begin with and would not fix their own issue. Not recommended.
John H.Had an appointment for a quote on 05/27/2022 between 1:00pm & 2:00 pm the representative for American roofing that was supposed check out my roof and give me a quote never showed up that's how reliable this roofing company isso I'm not going to call them to reschedule they missed their chance to replace my roof!
Outstanding experience with All American Roofing and Coating of Florida. They provided us with a quote in a timely manner, and were always very responsive to any questions we had. Everyone was very professional and we are in love with our new roof. Highly recommend!
If you want to have another ""I should have"" experience in your life then this is the company for you.
I should have not called them back after they ignored two requests to come and give us an estimate for minor repairs.
I should have not called them back after it took two weeks for them to come back with an estimate after promising ""we'll have it to you in a day or two"".
I should have called other roofing companies for a comparison.
I should have seen it as a harbinger of things to come, when they failed to call me, as agreed, to schedule the repairs after promising to ""start work in three weeks"".
I should have asked for a refund of our deposit when after 6 weeks of giving them a 50% deposit, the sales person would not reply to repeated emails, voice mails, and texts requesting a call back about the start of work.
I should have cancelled the contract and asked for a refund when after multiple unanswered calls to their office resulted in no call backs.
I should have cancelled the contract and asked for a refund when someone finally answered the phone saying that the salesman ""had a family issue and was out of town for a few weeks"". Did he lose his cell phone?
I should have been more assertive when I got a call from Jesus (the owner) after nine weeks of signing the contract, requesting the balance of our bill and his reply to my comment of ""Why? The work has not been performed"" was ""Oh, the repairs were done last Tuesday"".
I should have considered seeking advice from an attorney when Jesus failed to show up as he promised, to show me ""pictures of the work being performed"" as proof that they were there. And when I finally got a hold of Jesus, after another week went by, him telling me that he ""had a family issue and had to go out of town"". Sound familiar? Could call me or text me?
I should have called an attorney when Jesus became rude and insulting when I indicated that they failed to hold up their end of the agreement and requesting a refund for not replacing moldy plywood (which Jesus admitted they did not replace), using plastic ridge vents instead of aluminum, and not matching the shingle color as agreed. ""I'll give you $20 off"". Isn't that generous of him?
The agreement between us and the salesman was to; (1) call us before starting the repairs so that we can budget the balance of the repairs, (2) replace plywood that has black mold, (3) replace the old ridge vents with new aluminum ridge vents (instead of plastic), (4) and match shingle colors, which according to the salesman ""will not be a problem as your shingles are the most popular color and we'll have no problem matching it"". Not to mention that we have three bundles of original shingles, which they could have used if they called us as agreed.
Don't have another ""I should have"" experience. Avoid these people and you'll be wiser then us.
Dennis R.I highly recommend All American Roofing. They were contracted to perform roofing services at our home and the work they completed was exceptional. Their office staff was friendly and helpful and the tradesman arrived when scheduled and completed the work in the designated time frame.
I do not recommend this company. I took what I could get after Hurricane Irma damaged the roof on this rental house. The contract was signed 11/09/17-- even that took two months to get. But today is 4/13/18 six months later, and the roof is still not done. The tarp and sand bags were up there for five months. I called them every two weeks for five months until they got started. When they tore off the old roof and removed it, they disposed of the tarp and roof debris in a large dumpster, but left half the sand bags in the yard. They only removed them after I called to complain ( twice) and my handyman complained directly to the roofers while there. The owner Jesus told me it wasn't their responsibility to remove them because they weren't the company that tarped the roof. (POOR service- leaving them for the elderly tenants or the out-of-state landlord when it was no cost to them to throw them in the dumpster I was already paying for.) The contract included replacing a 20 ft piece of fascia that was blown off the front. When I got the final bill for final 1/3 payment, this was not yet installed and the final inspection wasn't yet done. The roof failed final inspection over a dispute with the county.
I requested a Wind Mitigation form and got a form with errors and no photos. I requested corrections and got a corrected form, but no photos. I inquired by phone to the company owner, Jesus. After asking me what photos are needed, he wanted to know if I was charged extra on my contract for this. (Again poor service and proof they don't know how to do one, which is odd since it's Florida Statutes that mandate how this should be done by a licensed roofer or inspector.) He said he would have the final inspection approved by the county by the end of today after our conversation today. I will VERIFY its legitimacy with the county and pay someone ELSE to do the Wind Mitigation form for my insurance company. I DO NOT recommend this company.
The roof they put on was fine, and they were very nice when I was dealing with the insurance company. We asked them to repair some areas around our chimney and some facia after the roof repair. That's when things didn't go so well. The facia job was not done very well and the flashing around the chimney did not look good. Then less than a year later the hurricane hits and the roof starts leaking around the chimney. They said their contract states the roof is not guaranteed for winds over certain mph. Fair enough. I call another company to give me an estimate they say it's not the roof but a terrible job with the flashing around the chimney. I called AA roofing to come and take a look, and I explained what the other business said. Well, they are now ""Very busy"" and won't be able to come out for 3-5 weeks. I then say, that's fine. Then I haven't heard back from them at all. They know that they need to fix their mistake and now they are not responding to any of my emails.
This company came and found a leak which they said needed to be taken apart with a special barrier applied and resealed. I was given a bid with the detailed outline of work to be done and paid half the cost to begin the work. They came a month later! When someone did finally come to do the job all he did was apply caulk to the area and smear it with his fingers which took 2 hours and still billed me $1000, it looks horrible. When I told him that this was not the job detailed in my estimate he then notified me that this was all that needed to be done and even doing what was on the work proposal would not fix my problem. I spoke to the owner who was just as bad as his crew. There are plenty of other companies in town, do yourself a favor and do NOT call this one! I had to hire another company to come out do the job correctly.
Russ W.They misdiagnosed our problem and said we needed to repair a skylight when in fact we needed a new roof. The repair was $1,500. The office person blamed the misdiagnosis on an employee who is no longer with the company. We asked to speak to the President who won't return our calls. Our skylight is leaking and the company is unresponsive.
