Our Escondido OaK Hill home of 28 years was built in 1974. It needed a new roof. There were some obvious structural issues that would require repair before a fully guaranteed new roof could be installed. We have worked with building contractors before and have learned some expensive lessons. Therefore, we sought opinions and estimates from three roofing contractors. We selected Alfredo's Roofing of Escondido for two objective reasons. Its business license was up to date with the State of California and it checked out on the Better Business Bureau website. Even better, Alfredo was frank when he gave his written estimate. He too could see there were issues, such as a dry rot in facia boards and other ornamental structures that might lead to further repair costs, and there could be other issues hiding under the existing shingles. (As it turned out, there was an electrical issue dating back to the home's original construction.) Alfredo's crew was polite and professional, communicated their start and stop times in advance, and cleaned up well before knocking off work each day. The job was completed in five hot days. The shiny new roof matches our home's paint scheme, is fully up to code and the work was permitted through the city. The shingles are energy efficient and guaranteed for 30 years. Alfredo's guarantees its labor and workmanship for 10 years.If it ever rains again, I we will see if our new roof will work as advertised. I'm sure we will be fully satisfied.

Our roof is now better than new. With the dual-layer, fiberglass reinforced underlayment we're good for decades to come. Not only is Alfredo's roofing priced reasonable, the job is well done and within 4 days. Due to our electric solar + pool solar installments after the re-roofing, some of the concrete tiles were broken, but Alfredo personally came by to make sure that all the tiles are repaired. We highly recommend them for your re-roofing.

POOOOOR Communication
Would not deal with this company ever, was promises a phone call twice for a quote on a new roof but he never called. One of his workers actually called owner in front of me and promised a call back within 5 minutes , what a joke ! Sad part is he was doing a new roof on a unit attached to mine and would have benefited him $$ as well as me. No courtesy , not even an initial call to inform me that he would be installing a new roof attached/adjacent to mine. Conned my tenant into allowing use of my driveway for disposal truck . Hoping he reads this, as someday when work is scarce he will be surprised to find no one willing to hire him. Stay clear.
