Quoted me one price, I asked for receipt he said receipt will cost me $200 more. It's obvious he doesn't want to report to taxes and does not want to give receipts or he will have to report income. His card states General Contractor yet he has no license.

Refused to give me receipt after job was done. On the rain we had following the replacement of my roof, it leaked. Contacted Carlos Alfaro and he finally came out to fix it after several tries. But had damage inside on ceiling and he refused to fix it, saying he did not know how. Poor job, not satisfied! He also remodeled my kitchen and in transporting the granite, he broke it. Instead of getting a new piece, he used patches of it to complete the counter.

Poor communication not just because of language. Did things I didn't want and didn't do things we discussed need doing. Took almost 3 months to ""finish"" job, started fast then would disappear for awhile, never knew when or if would show up on any day or week. I found beer bottles in my bushes as well as other trash, I had to clean up paint, nails lots of assorted trash. Workers seem like good people but asked to do more than they could handle. Got a descent finished product at decent final price but so so slow and so sloppy.
