Needed to fix roof after leaks revealed in 2022-23 winter. I was impressed with job my neighbor had done and contacted same manager. For my job Melvin and his team of workers were awesome from start to finish. I am ""senior"" level these days so I have been around the block. I can say that Melvin and Alexander Roofing gave me my best experience I have gotten from hiring professionals for a costly job. Melvin absolutely keeps you informed every step of the process and takes care of all the surprise stuff that happens at minimal cost. The quality of work I received was top notch and the price was very reasonable. You can trust Melvin and I give him and his team my strongest recommendation.

We had a very good experience with Melvin. We had been trying to find someone to fix a leaking roof for several years. The roof was over a shed area between two buildings, and one of the buildings has a foam roof. Every contractor we contacted would come and look at the project and suck their teeth and shake their head and either decline to take the project, or quote a price so high that it was the same thing. It just wasn't worth their while. Melvin was completely different. He spent half an hour walking around on the roof, said he'd send us a quote and then did so. He also noticed that the ridgeline tiles on the roof on the main house were in bad shape (that roof is over 20 years old). When his extremely reasonable quote came, he also recommended replacing the ridgeline and offered to provide a quote for that.
I am delighted to say that Melvin was able to squeeze in between storms to fix both roofs, and that they are both now wonderfully waterproof. Not only that, but we also discovered that Melvin's crew had finished clearing out our gutters! We had not been able to get to one part where the roof is a bit too steep for comfort, and without being asked, someone on Melvin's crew noticed and they fixed it!
