Alex is responsive, and he explained his answers in ways that were easy to understand. He is also proactive, and as a result, we were able to get the work scheduled and done much earlier than anticipated. His team was respectful, and they did the work that was asked of them.

Honestly I have never written a review before on Yelp but I really felt that others who were in my position should hear about the experience I had with Alex and his crew of professionals.

We were new to the area and has just purchased a house that we knew needed a new roof. I researched quite a few companies as you can imagine and I found that getting companies to reply was rather difficult at times. Not the case with Alex. He got back to me within an hour once I sent in a request for some info.

He was a bit further away than I realized but that did not stop him from driving over an hour on a late Saturday afternoon to meet with my wife and I to go over the job at hand.

As I stated earlier I did contact quite a few companies and received multiple quotes. One of the first was extremely low which led me to believe that the job would be less that it actually was. With that in mind I thought the quote from Alex was a bit high as I was comparing it to the lower one I received. All of the others I received after Alex were almost the exact same so that told me the initial was way off and it was in fact as they left out a lot of required work that would have eventually been added to the total at the end.

With that in mind I knew what the cost should be and I went to work narrowing down the options. The others were all professional as well and I have no complaints, but Alex really stood out and went above and beyond the others. Out of 6 other quotes I received Alex was the only one that actually went up in the attic to thoroughly inspect the interior and underside of the roof for any damage there may be for the most accurate assessment.

Luckily there was no damage but that really stood out to me. He gave a very thorough presentation of the materials they would use as well as the warranty and just really made a great impression and eased a lot of fears we had. He recommended we shop around for other quotes and we did do that.

During that time he would occasionally reach out for an update but not in a pushy way at all. He was always responsive to our questions and replied back in a timely fashion.

Alex installed a Solaris cool shingle roof with 7"" seamless gutters and we could not have been happier with the result. All wrapped up in 3 days and left the surrounding area looking better then before they started. Alex and his crew were stellar and would recommend them without hesitation!!

Alex was fantastic. As with all home purchases the usual ""inspector"" was hired by the real estate agents. Since that company had unfavorable reviews on Yelp and amongst my personal friends I looked else where and found APR! Yay!
Alex is super easy to work with and I feel pricing was very fair. The team worked super fast...less than 4 hours including clean up and they were allso kind and friendly! They moved equipment and trucks when not needed to keep thebscene safe and my new neighbors happy.
Since most aren't comfortable climbing up 26 ft in the air to check the work Alex takes before and after pics to show you! (Transparency goes a long way!)
Alex and team will be back for new gutters with mesh covers in the future.

After calling for a estimate, thinking I would get on a list, wait a couple of weeks for the estimate, then get on their work schedule. That didn't happen, Alex called me back the same day, came out on the following Saturday for the estimate, sent me the estimate the same day. His estimate was a fair price and he could start the work the following week. New gutters, down spouts and leaf guards on my garage, and gutter guards for my house. I also needed a repair to my flat roof on the patio.

All was completed on time except the flat roof repair, he's coming back to finish that repair in a couple of weeks

The product for gutter guards is a great product, leaf blaster pro from gutter glove is what he installs. Made right here in Roseville. When I registered my gutter guard product for the warranty, gutter glove offered to come out and inspect the install of their product. They just wanted to make sure I would be happy with the product that was installed, and assure it was installed per their instructions. Wow what company does that!

Anyway if your needing roofing, gutters and gutter guards you have found a good company with Alex Perez roofing

Hired Alex Perez roofing to do some long overdue maintenance on my roof and gutters. They were great with communication, showed up on time, did the job quickly and left the place spotless. Had them upgrade one of our valleys and clean out the rest. They cleaned and repaired gutters, fixed some dry rot, etc. Overall, great experience with them and very reasonable cost.

First, thank you fellow Yelpers for helping us find this company.

We have now had two very positive experiences with Perez Roofing, both relating to rental properties.

In the first, Mr. Perez advised us on a rusted out and therefore leaky gutter. The advice meant no work for him (long story involving a membrane roof being installed over the gutter so it could not be removed without damaging the roof), but we very much appreciated his expertise and candid assessment.

As a result, we did not hesitate to call him again when a tree badly damaged a roof and gutter section at our fourplex. Mr. Perez came out to inspect the situation, emailed a reasonable written repair estimate on the spot and we scheduled the work for the next opening (not too long off) in his schedule.

Even though we have had a dry winter thus far, as bad luck would have it, rain was forecast the weekend before the repair. We texted Mr. Perez early on a Saturday morning in a bit of a panic. He was kind enough to come out within just a few hours to cover up the damaged area so water wouldn't get in and cause further damage. What wonderful customer service.

The final thing I want to mention is the professionalism of his operation. Perez Roofing takes advantage of technology to provide prompt (and convenient) estimates, photos of work and billing. And Mr. Perez is a really nice guy to boot.

As rental property owners, we are fortunate to work with a number of wonderful tradespeople (and have experience with some not so wonderful folks too). We recommend Perez Roofing very highly for your roofing and gutter needs.

We are very happy with the work that Alex and his team did. We requested a quote online for roof repair, and Alex responded to the quote within 5 minutes! And even more impressively, he was able to sit down with us right after the roof examination and went over everything in detail, with pictures and past job examples. The quote was fair and the work quality was superb! Super glad that Alex and his wonderful crew were able to fix the leakage before the rain started! No more leak! Yay! We recently purchased our house and it was in need of a new roof. As if the stress from that experience wasn't enough, we were about to face another stressful situation choosing a roofing company for the job, and trying to do so in a small window of time before the winter season.

I reached out to Alex and he contacted back that same day. He was very professional and answered all of the questions we had. He was actually a little farther from me then I realized and he went out of his way on a late Saturday afternoon to meet with me, inspect the roof and provide an estimate.

I will say , I did contact some others in the area, and the initial quote I received was super low. Like real low. Here I am thinking this isn't going to be too bad after all. Then reality hits.

Alex spent quite sometime on the estimate that day and was the only contractor I contacted that actually went up in our attic to see exactly what was going to be needed, if anything at all. He went above and beyond what any others did in that respect. He gave a very thorough description of what was needed to be done which included any additional work he felt may be required. He showed us samples of the types of shingle, the warranty and the what we can expect from him and his crew.

His price was higher that the initial so we were a little surprised. We talked and he explained why the other was so low and encouraged me to contact others as well and do my due diligence.

We did just that and they all came in at pretty much the same price. The first contractor was way off and although the others we contacted we very professional and knowledgeable, I really felt that Alex went above and beyond and that is why we chose to work with him. We could not have made a better choice and we could not be happier with the end result.

You would think there would be some excess material left from removing the old roof around the yard and in nooks and crannies. The yard and work area was spotless after they were done and not a trace of any remaining material to be found.

We also had 7"" Seamless gutters installed and they did a phenomenal job and was really cool to watch them customize each piece specifically for the house. They came out spectacular as did the roof and I cannot say enough about how happy we are with the end result.

I have never written a review before but I really believe that anyone looking for a dependable and professional roofer should seriously consider Alex for the job. He is also a really great guy and will recommend him to whoever I can when I have the opportunity. You won't be disappointed.
