Hailing from Northern California, Nick Hernandez started his roofing career in 1977 when he began roofing with Pioneer Roofing in Ukiah, CA. After 3.5 years, he moved to Alaska. In Alaska, he dedicated a decade to mastering his craft with Rain Proof Roofing. He started as a roofer for 4 years and progressed to lead foreman for 6 years, he oversaw important state and government contracts. After Rain Proof, he spent 21 years with Industrial Roofing Inc. (IRI). His journey began as the main foreman (4 yrs.), then as a Project Manager (5 yrs.), followed by an Estimator for residential and small commercial projects (3 yrs.), and concluded as a Senior Estimator and Silent Partner (9 yrs.). While at IRI, he regularly oversaw $7 million in awarded projects each year. When he left, he had estimated over $13 million in projects. Since then, Nick has thrived in the roofing sector.
